    I am the Webmaster of Emily Bloom's official site (Introduction)

    Greetings! I am the webmaster of theemilybloom.com which is the official website of nude art model Emily Bloom. You may know her for her work with Met Art, Hegre-Art, Watch4Beauty and many others. Glad to be a part of this forum, looks like there are many great people and resources here!

    Our site launched less than 2 months ago and we are off to a great start so far. We just launched an affiliate program and already have a lot of great content up on the site. We are looking into new forms of promotion and advertising as well and I'm sure you guys will have some great tips on that. Fortunately we get a lot of traffic on her name alone so that helps too.

    I look forward to chatting with you all.

                                                          I thought the site was broken at first but it was the video trying to load. I'm on a 100mbs connection and it still took 10-15 seconds for the vid to load.

                                                                      You need to optimize your WP script. Im guessing its running way too many queries and plugins for your server. Cache it.

                                                                              The site is probably loading slow because it's using Wordpress framework with A BUNCH of installed plugins, including Woocommerce, which runs a lot of processes. The Wordpress theme looks like Bridge, from Themeforest. It's a parallax theme, which can sometimes be bloated.

                                                                              It's also hosted on Cloudflare, which looks like a shared server (I could be wrong). If the site generates a lot of traffic by say, posting a link to it on a popular adult forum, then it will probably run slow. If that's the case, it may be time to upgrade to a dedicated.

                                                                                          It looks like Woocommerce, not sure that's the ideal solution here. But that's up to the webmaster. The additional information can be removed, the rest is necessary for billing. He should have a link to TOS on there as well as how the site will be billed on credit card statements.

                                                                                                                                          my experience with themeforest themes is horrible. Every one of them loads as slow or slower than this site. The slowness is built in the themes. The creators probably think 'we have to stuff it full with options otherwise people will not pay for it'.

                                                                                                                                          The almost 60 js files are probably all built in the theme.

                                                                                                                                          I always go with popular simple free themes. Support from the wp community and super fast loading sites.

We set up some belated caching and compression and will probably do a bit of a server upgrade in the near future.                                                                                                                                                                       I found again the site loaded very slow - theemilybloom.com

                                                                                                                                                                      Once loaded it looks like a blog.

                                                                                                                                                                      In fact the only point when you have an idea its a pay site is when you click on the 'Join Now' link: theemilybloom.com/product-category/memberships/

                                                                                                                                                                      But even then it simply ask you to join, it does not say what I a joining. I have no idea if its to see content or not.

                                                                                                                                                                      I would not know this is a pay site and think its a blog and just leave.

                                                                                                                                                                      Its important your site loads quick and within 3 secs you know what the site is about.

                                                                                                                                                                      You will loose many people simply on the basis the site loads slow and it looks like a blog.

                                                                                                                                                                          No offense to the webmaster, but the site doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, so it could have been developed totally avoiding Wordpress all together. It would load faster, optimize better, and you would have more control over the flow of content. I just designed a site using HTML5/CSS3/Javascript/Bootstrap, and you would never be able to tell it wasn't a Wordpress site if you didn't look at the source code. And I'm only running six scripts, not 60. Just food for thought.

                                                                                                                                                                                      You just have to use the correct theme and the needed server according to your traffic.
