What are you thinking about tubesites? pros - cons?
good or bad for business>?
are tubesites doing damage for your business or helping the sales?
just wanted to know some opinions on this.
Here are my thoughts on this:
As a small business owner, when i started a paysite i didn't had a big budget for other than
developing the website.
So the big question was: how i am gonna get some good traffic and of course sales?
The SEO was not an option because of many reasons
a. - Too expensive to hire a SEO specialist / company
b. - Too much time to see some decent results
c. - I wasn't sure that the money on the SEO campaign will be well spent, as nobody could guarantee that i will get good quality traffic
from this.
d. i needed a better solution to make some money with my new website other than waiting for the traffic from social media & search
engines
Considering that my website was new, not even getting indexed by G00gle or Alexa or any other SE i couldn't choose other option than
promoting my website on the tubesites
Everybody know how the tubesites are getting their money so i will not go through all this.
I signed up as a content partner with the big ones ( xhamster, pornhub, youporn,xvideos ) and once i got approved and my content was
online i started getting traffic from them. And the good thing is that this traffic actually converts into $$$.
As for the % they are quite flexible. for example i am only offering a 50% from the signups..that's all. No re billing no revshare..
Targeted traffic or general , doesn't matter as in my opinion is way more better than the one coming from SEO.
So in the first day after my videos have been uploaded online i got signups as well.
For me it can't be better. I saved a shitload of money by not paying for SEO, i got some real results in the first days of the website
being online.
I am thinking..how many days/weeks/ months i should have been waiting just to see some SEO results converted into signups?
I know some people would disagree with my point, saying that tubesites are doing damage to their business because of the high amount of
content that's being uploaded freely by users.
I agree with them as well. However there is a big difference between a small business/ small paysite owner that is trying to make some
extra $$$ and a big content producer/ network that sometimes is bleeding because of their content uploaded by others on the tubesites.
I also saw some of my content being uploaded on tubesites by random users but i am not that affected by this.In some cases they are
doing me a favour by showing my watermarked videos to other potential visitors/customers. And if they can make a $ from CPM ..then why
not.
It would cost me much more ( time and resources) to upload the videos myself.
Even tho the tubesites list is quite big only few worth the effort in having a content partner account with them.
To conclude, having a new website online and working with tubesites can be the best thing if you're on a budget
Pros: everything i just said above
Cons: not much ( at least i didn't found anything worth mentioning)
