Well... there's definitely something wrong with paxum. Transfer to card is NOT working (transfer error both in mobile app and browser).

"Error 404
Funds were not transferred. Please try again later"

My card was shipped in April, now it's August and never received. 5 friends also didn't get their cards.

On july 21st I paid $100 to get expedited service, it's now a month later and still no card, or tracking number.

This is extremely pathetic how they don't give a rats ass.

I 've ordered protective screen for my phone from Ali express yesterday that costs few bucks. Guess what, I have a tracking number for the product of that value and it was shipped in less in 12 hours.

Should I tell that my card never arrived, second one was ordered but it is behind all schedules, and fucking support not responding for days

What was written on the bank statement as reason for the payment and who was the sender of the money ?

I have, used it for a while with payments coming from 'Paydek' as 'funds transfer VISA direct MT', then the service stopped working at Paxum's end saying cards not supported.

same here - i paid for the "express service" in june already after my first card (announced to be send in march) "got lost" (what NEVER has happend before with any shipment).

meanwhile i have transfered the most of the money to my bank account and the costs for that would be enough for a nice 2 weeks holidays in the Caribbean because I had to exchange the money in Euro on a ugly rate plus transfer costs like hell.

What does support say? I used it in the past too and it always worked. Then I received my Paxum card so I withdraw via ATMs since.

Same with me. Paid 50 dollars for express delivery on July 17 (after the first card has been "lost"). No card, it still shows "Submitted" in their system.

Three obvious conclusions:
-Replacement cards have never been printed (except for a few lucky guys);
-They take our money, although they are aware that no one wants to produce cards for them.
-They lie to us, constantly, incessantly, they lie about everything.

Today is exactly 3 months since I ordered mastercard from paxum. Support just replied with apology asking to wait a little bit more. I'm waiting, lol...
I guess they have a major issue with mastercard right now.

Any suggestions on other popular payment companies???

that could be done easy but not really cheap.
the biggest problem is that you have only 2 big players at the end that decide.

the complete online payment stuff is is just a waste of money because at the end you will have the same rules as on any bank and you have to tell them all about you.

all this tries starting from epassporte on are fragil and heavily under control.
paypal is the same (or even worse than all other).

at the end of the day the good old wire to a bank is still the cheapest and most reliable way to transfer money. actually from all this non popular payment methods and banks I prefer transferwise because it is easy, cheap, fast and you can use it for any currency you want with a supercheap exchange rate.

unfortunately I could not try their cards because they don´t have them for thailand yet.
but the possibilities they offer are really great.
if i am not completely wrong the following should work:

open a transferwise account under your name (must be the same as on your paxum)
if you have, let´s say 1000 dollars but finally you want this money in Euro or any other currency it will cost you a fortune.
1. you pay the ATM costs
2. you get a terrible exchange rate

at the end you will receive something like 800 euros for this 1000 dollars.
(if you would have 1000 in cash and change it on a bank they would give you around 830)

now if you send your money in dollars to your transferwise account and want to receive it there on your Euro currency account they tell you right away how much that will be.
than you might have something like 840-850 on your transferwise account and you can now either make another wire to another bank (on cheap costs) or get it with your cash card from the ATM.

at the final you will have between 5% and 8% more in your hand.

I have used transferwise the last months.

$5 paxum fee for EFT, 0.7% transferwise fee for conversion to local currency. To wire it to my bank in local currency is totally free.

Lots of money saved, I think paxum takes 3.3% plus I paid about $12 to my bank for a wire after that.

no it is not a problem. they didn´t even ask you that when you use it as personal account.
I am not sure what happens if you open a business acount and take payments from private customers - that might cause an issue.

On the demise of FirstChoice, I never lost $1... but, my Vendor who paid me through FirstChoice, has been having trouble converting to Wires.

They are $2k behind. I could use a lifeline!

Wow, you got an apology? Not bad. Ordered a new card 8 weeks ago, and status is still "submitted". Support reply on this was basically that it's not that long and I should wait. As no Paxum support is present at GFY anymore, I guess it's time to call it quits?

When you try to return the money from the card to the account there is no possibility to select the account number, this option is simply not loaded.

The problem is solved. Ruth suggested to contact paxum.trucash.com It turned out that they just blocked the card because there were some suspicious transactions (I dont know why they decided so). After a small chat, they unlocked the card. I was able to withdraw cash from an ATM today. Of course Trucash should have contacted the owner of the card or inform Paxum.
