They need to just go bomb the fuck out of these assholes and stop worrying about protecting the friggen oil fields. This is why soldiers are dying like this.

No need for a ground war, just level the fucking place.

For those who are on the "iraq side", get a clue. Really these are OUR soldiers out there fighting for US. To insure US a safe place to live. ALL countries should appreciate this, Iraq is a threat to more than the U.S!

Do I want to see innocent people die? Hell No? A life is a life and seeing loss of life sucks. But given the choice I prefer iraq's die over Americans!!

Anyone who doesn't needs to go over there and join iraqs army. You can talk the talk but can you walk the walk?

bomb who? the buildings of the civilians? Will this make anyone here feel better? Except iraqish people they have remained in Iraq people from all over the world that they have been living there for decades. I heard a greek family on a local tv channel that remained in their house cause they didn't have anywhere else to go. These are their homes. I wouldn't leave either. Any bombing further the already named targets would be a war crime.

Or the Iraqis rigged the white flag AFTER they were killed?

Think about it. Is it not possible the were prepaired to surender if things got out of hand?

Did you miss the part about the 1,000 cruise missles destroying targets?

Chances are those soldiers are the clean up crew.

If they were surrendering what the fuck were they doing in a foxhole to begin with?

Well Iraq doesn't seem to care too much about it's own people, as they are using them as human shields, moving civillians into areas that are targets to prevent the US from attacking.. What kind of person, country, regime, mentality uses THEIR OWN civillians as cannon fodder? Bah.. Not worth the fight.

I pray the soldiers get a quick death.

There are 50 nations that fit this bill. If we are going to police the world I say fine, hell yeah, if we were going around the world liberating opressed people I swear I'd join the fucking Army today.

But it's just Iraq, just oil, just work for Halliburton, just water for Israel, just revenge for humiliating Bush's daddy.

It's hypocritical and it's wrong.

FUCK YES!

I don't want to hear any more of these lies about liberating the Iraqi people.

It's always been bullshit and it's still bullshit now.

Since when has the US ever given a fuck about sand ******s?

War is wrong. Period. Resting our laurels on hope that the other side will be honourable is wasteful. The whole thing stinks. The only thing we can TRULY do is hope that the least amount of people die and the whole thing is over with sooner than later. It's easy to be holier than thou and say I'm right, you're wrong, but the essential truth is this:

No matter what war, each side is going to think they're right. Both sides are praying to their gods that they win. Both sides will have people die. Both sides have families who will suffer loss, pain, and injury. At the basest level, the human level, it's all for naught, it's all waste, we're all going to die anyways, someday.

I'm not gonna fight it out anymore, sure I have my opinions, but when you think about it that way, all the fight just kind of goes away.

Joe Sixpack 03-23-2003 10:02 AM

Fuck this.

I'm going to bed, it's almost 3am here.

The war will still be on in the morning.

Smell you warmongers later.

jebus... my thoughts exactly. methinks some here do not know what the word war actually means... shrub asked for this, do people think that the Iraqi soldiers aren't going to fight back or defend themselves, or fight back from who in their eyes are invaders? keep in mind this is happening in a city that has been bombed heavily for days, there is going to be heavy casualties on both sides before this is done... i hope my cousins over there are ok, but i cant condone this entire thing regardless, only hope for the smallest loss of life. those who have been sitting in this forum screaming for arab blood for days, i hope someday you grow up enough to be ashamed of yourselves... this so-called 'war' isn't justified, and i think we all are going to see a reckoning before too long over this.

but, the increased signups *are* pretty nice, back to work..

"Sensefull"?? Fiesta, how come you never shut up?

Here's an interesting point..... for 12+ years the US/UN "negotiated" with Saddam........ And (here it comes) we tried economic sanctions...... sanctions designed to force Iraq to smarten up and comply and do the right thing.... those sanctions didn't work. BUT (here it is folks) ...... the US WAS CRITICIZED HEAVILY by fuckheads like this dumbass fiesta here, for "starving Iraqi children" and "brutalizing the iraqi people with undo hardship"..... cry me a fucking river.

We put economic sanctions on iraq in hopes that it's people would cry out to Saddam, maybe revolt against him and force him to comply or step down. But the people were obviously so afraid of him that they played along with his game and cryed out to the US/UN....oh the unfairness!!

The point: Everything diplomatic was tried, and even much of THOSE tactics were criticized by bleeding heart fuckheads like fiesta.
Conclusion: There is no pleasing bleeding heart fuckheads like fiesta no matter what you do.
