Pilot ejected over Baghdad

Why the hell do they keep shooting blindly around in the hope to hit him? They should atleast give him a chanse to surrender himself.

yeah we've been really unlucky all the casulaties reported so far have come from accidents. the same thing happened in the last gulf war with more than half of uk troops killed by friendly fire.

although i think there's the possibilty we might not have got to hear about all the casualties so far, only those where reporters have been around to report it. i don't know if it's true but iraq say they are going to show coalition POW's and destroyed coalition tanks in the next few hours on TV.

i'm not naive, and understand there's lots of propoganda flying around, but i would have thought friendly fire is worse PR than saying that iraq got lucky and shot one down.

They are very good at propaganda then...

Shot by your own side or accidents doesn't exactly make the coalition look fantastic does it?

of course the americans/brits denied it, them guess wat, they now have some crap about the EXACT same make, models, numbers, helicopters having crashed AFTER Iraq claimed to have shot them down!
