    Business Affiliates what are your favorite tools and what would you need more of?

    What are the tools you mostly use from affiliate programs? What would you need more of and what kind of tools would you like to have?

    Is anybody still using free hosted galleries?
    What about Hosted FLV's? Video banners? RSS feeds?

    What tools help you make more money?

    What tools have you ever thought would be great to have?

                  Video clips in MP4 format, with the names of the pornstars that are in them if possible. A tool to dump these out along with the poster image and duration. Titles and descriptions not so important for me.

                                          I would like to see some text descriptions with FHG and embedded MP4 videos or HTML 5. I think a paragraph of text with galleries or videos engages the surfer as opposed to just pics or vids.

                                          Nice subtle banners without all of the 90's gaudy gif action. More affiliate programs going to https, at least the ones offering hosted stuff, thanks in advance.

                                          Also RSS feeds with SmartScripts standards (consistency). Nice RSS feeds with quality videos and photos, not little tiny pics.

                                          Get the videos sized up larger in promos. We can downsize in HTML5 to fit.

                                          Kudos for asking. There are a lot of affiliate programs out there that do go the extra mile and we appreciate it, especially Fetish Hits.

                                              MP4 movies (1-3min) with decent quality, not the greedy ones that are available now in flv format.
                                              Easy export in this format : mp4url|thumburl|title
                                              More fresh content, most are 10 years old now.

                                              Merge some sites. Way too many sites which are in a similar (sub)niche.

                                                                      FreeOnes is still using FHG a lot (both image and video FHG) but also hosted videos.
                                                                      For both I want to be able to grab them as a dump with a useful tool to export the dump and that model names are listed if possible.

                                                                      And update them on a regular bases, so many sponsor sites have not updated in years even though they do add new content on their sites.

                                                                      We also subscribe to newsletters if possible, good way to let us know there's new content available to grab.

                                                                          182 mp4's for GayItsLive.com

                                                                          But we are working on many more for all the other sites.

                                                                                                                          I'm using photo FHG's everyday in my TGP and other promos because there is a definite market for pics. I believe the older market prefers pics for surfing. I tend to promote more heavily the programs that email new weekly pic and vid galleries every week. Some affiliates only provide video promo and I feel they are ignoring a legitimate chunk of the market. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Since several people have asked: I still use pictures for promotion but not FHG so much; I usually link the pics straight to the front page tour. It's quite a pain to review a bunch of FHGs for good promotional pictures, so with the programs I promote regularly, I typically ask for (and usually get) a member's-area pass with permission to pull photos for promotion. That's easiest for me me and delivers better results than any system of hosted galleries.

                                                                                                                                                                                              2. actual scene descriptions not the one line "she got fucked in the ass" ones
                                                                                                                                                                                              3. mp4s as mentioned - viewing source and digging for the mp4 works but much cooler if you have it
                                                                                                                                                                                              4. this is a simple thing but so many lack it...your logo. not everyone likes the same banner or creatives and anyone worth a shit will make their own
                                                                                                                                                                                              5. list or your upcoming releases or scenes would also be very useful

                                                                                                                                                                                                  Same for me: a few owners/models (especially who has not promo material) offer to me this possibility so that I can choose a few pictures, resizing them.
