Not a conspiracy guy but Scalia........

I find it weird that a 79 year old man from Virginia with a wife went on a weekend vacation alone to a ranch all the way down in Texas, where he had no close friends, and isn't even a hunter. Just doesn't seem normal, if I heard he went on a weekend hunting or golfing vacation with old friends it would be very normal. Or going somewhere to get laid by a younger woman.

The report I red today mentioned he loved to hunt. Seemed he lived for it, and this wasn't his first time to this resort or whatever it was.

However, there was some other odd things....

Security is provided by the US Marshalls, but they didn't go with him. You would think his security would being as there was so many damn firearms around.

Also, the person who issued the death certificate did so without even seeing the body. This might be legal (in Texas), but you would think they would have put just a little bit of effort into this being who he was.

      Just odd.

I don't find it that strange. Sometimes it's nice to get away from everyone.

            Thanks Obama?

That's also what I've heard. He was an avid hunter from what all the reports are saying.

Also agree. He was found dead with his head under a pillow, not on top. The death certificate being signed without the ME present. Quick determination about his cause of death without an autopsy. And now all the talks about quickly cremating the body (making any posthumous autopsy impossible).

He was old, obese, and shit happens. 99% chance it was a heart attack in his sleep. But why can't it ever be an obvious death? A lot of controversial politicians end up dying with a lot of unanswered questions.

Yep, it was in February too.

Dick Cheney hunting incident - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

On around February 11, 2006, then U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney shot Harry Whittington, a 78-year-old Texas attorney, while participating in a quail hunt on a ranch in Riviera, Texas.[1] Both Cheney and Whittington called the incident an accident.

The incident was reported to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times on February 12, 2006, by ranch owner Katharine Armstrong.[2] The Bush administration disclosed the shooting incident to the public the afternoon of February 12. Local authorities released a report on the shooting on February 16, 2006, and witness statements on February 22.

On February 14, 2006, Whittington suffered a non-fatal heart attack and atrial fibrillation due to at least one lead-shot pellet lodged in or near his heart.[3] Cheney did not speak publicly about the incident until February 15 in an interview with Fox News. Early reports indicated that Cheney and Whittington were friends and that the injuries were minor. Whittington has since told the Washington Post that he and Cheney were not close friends but acquaintances.[4]
