    Virtual Windows Desktop + 8 Licenses: How Much?

    Growing can be a bitch. New server setup is required for more editors and uploaders. So what I am looking for is this:

    One virtual (windows) desktop my editors can upload their promo videos to.
    Then have my Team of Uploaders login, open up a browser and submit promos to various affiliates.

    I had this setup before but was unhappy with the annoying Host, who was always charging me for more this or that. So there has to be enough memory, bandwidth, etc. and a "fixed" monthly cost

    How much?

      I recall you got a decent upgrade to your internet connection?

      You could just have a windows box they log into at your house, if you trust them. Granted that's a liability. If you're good at talking to police detectives, like I am, you shouldn't have any worries.

                  Why use windows? if its just uploading downloading and browsers. use Linux.

                      Yeah that's what I was thinking, too. I am talking to my Programmer about how hard it is to setup on the Uploaders end. He seems to think they're too dumb to set it up correctly (he may be right) as Linux is more complicated than just logging onto a Windows desktop environment.
