Not really. Find almost any Taylor Swift video and it has over 1 Billion views. The secret is to find songs that are popular with kids, or younger people. They're the ones watching the videos. You won't find too many Yo-Yo Ma Youtube videos with over a billion views, and that dude is a musical genius.

Youtube is always busting artists and their agents for view stuffing their online videos.
The vendors supplying the views are getting more sophisticated and harder to catch.
It's just a huge PR joke. Anybody with cash can make a shitty video and spend mega bucks to view vendors and pump their video into the billions of hits until the media picks up on it and declares the song an online viral hit. It's all BULLSHIT.
Like billions of people on this planet are watching Taylor Swift videos?? BILLIONS??? People forget how many a billion actually is. It's not fundamentally reasonable that 5-10% of the entire planet has watched a Taylor Swift video.
And that Psy guy, 2.5 billion??? How many people on the entire planet, about 7.5 billion, So even if people watched it twice, 1.25 billion people, that's about 16% of the ENTIRE FUCKING PLANET?? Please. What a total crock of shit.
