Steppe and Jackson have not been a couple for years, and Steppe is now married to a Grand Prairie, Texas, police officer. When the police showed up at Jacksonâ??s door later that day and asked for the iPhone 4 back, Jackson refused. â??At that point I decided the police donâ??t interfere with my ability to parent my daughter,â? he told KHOU 11 News on Wednesday.

He wasn't keeping the phone from the daughter, he was keeping it from the MOTHER, his WIFE, and he went on keeping it from her after she left him and asked for her property back. might want to try reading comprehension cause he took the phone away from the daughter.. The mother didn't feel he had the right to take her daughter's phone away from her so she called the police. The whole BS was cause a cunt of a mother didn't think the ex had the right to take the daughter's phone.

From what I'm reading now the phone belonged to the mother, who paid for it and paid the bills for it, and he refused to give it back to the mother so she filed theft charges, and he was arrested and jailed for stealing her phone. NONE of this was because he took the phone from the daughter, it was because he wouldn't give it to the mother, who owned the damn thing. He wasn't in the daughter's life until she was 7 and the mother was married to another man, which makes me think his daughter probably didn't even live with him, but I can't find any articles that go into detail about that.

Just like every other conservative outrage-of-the-day, you find out it's all a stack of shite in the end and the 'hero' of the story is an asshole.
