The fifth annual MoveYourDomainDay lands February 2. It's our most important annual event, your chance to move a domain to Namecheap, save a bundle, and score a win for internet activism all at the same time. On MoveYourDomainDay, transfers* are only $3.98 each. You get an extra year on your domain in most cases -- plus an SSL certificate and secure Private Email service.

For every domain transferred on Feb. 2, Namecheap will donate between $0.50 and $1.50 to watchdog group EFF, the Electronic Frontier Foundation. EFF is the world's biggest advocate for online access rights and privacy -- web users are lucky to have them watching our backs. Not sure what's the situation this year, but last time it was not possible to transfer domains back which have been already transferred out once before (from Namecheap)
