    Rant Are people Stupid?

    This a genuine question and as such I expect genuine answers.

    Please refrain from personal insults calling me stupid. Direct your taughts to DVTimes instead who is much more deserving of your ridicule.

    Anyway, everyone knows people are sheep and they generally follow without question other people. As internet marketers most of us will know how stupid people are and that you need to tell them avery fucking thing and make it totally obvious or people just can't do it.

    I run a real world retail business and every fucking day I get people that are incapable of exiting our building. It's got a security lock and you press a button and pull the door to exit. So many people can't work it out and it's just as bad for people trying to get in despite a huge sign saying press the buzzer.

    We have till clearly in the middle of the room where people pay and it amazes me that people say things like "where should I Pay". No wonder every place has to have a big fucking sign saying Pay Here!

    Anyway, so yeah, Are people stupid, generally.

              Yes, because the smart people are careful in their decisions, especially reproducing. If they can't pay for a kid, they won't have any.

              Stupid people will breed like no tomorrow, accidentally or on purpose.

              Before we know it, we're ravaged by a ton of retarded offspring.

              In all seriousness, I'm not sure at all, but it FEELS like that's where we're going. Either that or we just have a lot more tech where stupid people can actually exhibit their stupidness to the world.

                  I don't know that all of what you described actually comes under stupidity.

                  People are often lazy and will ask before they attempt to figure things out.

                  People do not always pay as much attention to the things around them as they should.

                  People are often irresponsible and not always willing to take responsibility for their own actions.

                  And then of course, some people are actually stupid.

                      I have a co-worker who carries an Android smartphone with him throughout the day.

                      Yet he constantly asks me questions he can easily Google himself.

                      I got fed up and finally told him that knowledge isn't what's in your head - it's knowing where to find the answer.

                      He still asks me questions daily.

                              dude I just sold all of my ecig stores and I don't even know where to begin with how stupid some people are that came in the store.
                              Questions that were so fucking stupid I would feel like a dumbass just asking as a joke.
                              They say there are not stupid questions...bullshit there are lots of stupid questions.

                              Guy come in and says will that ecig blow up in my face. I tell him no and he says well you are just saying that because you work here.
                              So I tell him yes it will blow up and he says come on may I just want an honest answer. I tell him I gave you one and you don't want to hear it because I work here and I agree with what you heard on TV and you think I am joking.
                              ok how about there is a 50/50 chance it will blow up in your face. He says I can live with those odds and he buys it. What a fucking dumbass.
                              and by the way that convo took 20 minutes. It was not a quick yea no bye type deal, I went and explained it all to him. This is just one of 1000 stories I could tell.
                              I felt so smart when I was in that store because of shit like this.

                                                  I wouldn't say people are stupid. I think it's more that they're either lazy, or what I call a "space cadet" -- disconnected from reality. People are starting to get used to not thinking for themselves, so rather than sit for a second and try to formulate an answer on their own, they'll just ask a stupid question. There are some questions, especially in retail that are so dumb, if the people who asked were really as stupid as the question, they wouldn't be able to function in society.

                                                  When I sold printing, one of our standard products were 4" x 6" postcards. People would call and ask what size they were. Another brilliant question was when they were about to send over the artwork and they would ask, "How do you know which artwork goes on the front, and which goes on the back?" -- are you fucking kidding me with this?!?!

I there is some unusual door exit system (even it is written) many smart people will get confused as well.
                                                                                                                                                      Same with finding a till to pay.
                                                                                                                                                      I can assure you that if you made IQ test of those people you would find that some of them were even close to the genius level. And on the contrary you would find that out of those who opened the door or found the till quickly some would be of very low intellect.
