    Five dead in Canadian school shooting

    I hate seeing news like this....
    Five people were killed in a school shooting in a remote part of Saskatchewan on Friday and a suspect is in custody, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.

    Two people are in critical condition after the shooting in La Loche, which is about 600 km (375 miles) north of the city of Saskatoon.

                                                  Interesting ... That is mindless.

                                                  It should be said school shootings in Canada like this are a rarity but I guess there are nut-cases in Canada too. From the above quote, if proven out true, it seems the authorities are a bit lame too

                                                                  Evil is a value judgement attribute and varies from culture to culture.

                                                                                          Comprehend the difference between a Canadian shooting that happens infrequently, maybe once a year (or less)...compared to seemingly one-per-week south of the border.

                                                                                          That's not to say our gun laws are perfect - far from. But I'll take our gun laws over your total lack of - anyday.

                                                                                                          Now, the news media only picks up on the sensational killings.

                                                                                                          If your killing is lucky enough to be picked up, then you win!

                                                                                                          Otherwise, you can go out and kill 4 people and the odds of the news picking up the story are pretty slim.

                                                                                                          If you wanna make a real splash, kill about 10 people, then the news will pick up your story.

                                                                                                          Yes, that's the culture we now live in. Get used to it, because, NOBODY CARES.

                                                                                                          Unless a killer shoots down a school, killing a senator's kid or the president's kid, then MAYBE gun legislation will be dealt with, but, nothing short of that, NOBODY CARES.

                                                                                                          The bottom line is, nobody really cares about anybody outside their own family, so with that, if your kids one day get shot and killed at school, just remember, NOBODY CARES.

                                                                                                          That is why nothing will ever change and gun laws will never change. Ever. So, get used to daily killings. It is now the norm.

                                                                                                          We are nothing but stupid ignorant monkeys controlling toys that go boom and kill one another without consequence and we don't have the mental ability to correct the problem.

                                                                                                          We are a sorry group of animals indeed.

                                                                                                              I will bet that probably several people knew this guy, and knew he was a walking time bomb, but rather than hurt any feelings kept their mouths shut. These people need to be reported to authorities before they can commit this sort of non-sense.

Modern society has a mental health crisis on its hands and has no clue on how to deal with it. The more stressed out/depressed/unstable people you have crammed into a small space, the more likely one is going to pop a gasket and start killing people.

                                                                                                                          Now in this case it sounds like it was a small town and he was just tired of getting picked on. That is pretty much the only reason I can think you shoot your two brothers first, then go to school and start taking people out. Make people feel powerless long enough and some of them will fight back...

                                                                                                                                      But something has changed. Firearms used to be rifles and shotguns. Now it's all handguns and assault rifles.
