    Live webcam sites - model payout %

    LiveJasmin claims "get up to 80%", while most others are in the 30-50% range (Naked.com is 50%). Anyone familiar with what the criteria are for the performer to earn 80% with LJ? Has anyone actually seen this first-hand?

    80% of 4.99/min is $4/min.
    35% of 4.99/min is $1.75/min.

              I take that to mean you know it's just a LJ sales pitch and you don't get 80%... or it's practically impossible.

                  It is actually upto 60% then an extra 20% if you referred the client to LiveJasmin. So the first 100 dollars they pay out at 30%. Then it goes up, as below:

                      Based on it most models getting 30%-50% + optional 20% affiliate commission which is pretty much standard for industry.

                              The "up to" marketing trick
                              We also can say we pay "up to" 82% at chatgf.com , but this is if the model brings the user as affiliate. That's 2% more than livejasmin and most of the other cam sites offer with affiliate, in fact cam girls are so greedy, they move of cam site for just 2% more, it works

                                      80% of what?

                                      % mean little if the site has little traffic or huge competition in the form of 1000-s of other models...

                                      if they pay out huge % to models = shit traffic cause they have no $ to motivate affiliates or buy traffic

                                      if they pay out a smaller % chances are better that they will have traffic...

                                      I only look at one thing $/hour in real life that my models can make...the % is irrelevant

                                          Really, if you read cam girl forums, most are at 40% or less there; except some studios that are exclusively working on jasmin, I guess that's deals. I also heard streamray (cams com) changed the models payout so you get bigger % if you do more, like jasmin. This is perhaps done to scare away low earners and keep the big earners and let these focus.

                                                                          I was just curious. It seems to me like a girl who has her hustle on could make bank. But that takes work, and the day in/day out grind. Which probably accounts for why there aren't more in the upper percentages.
