Is anyone else out there tired of worrying about money?

And I don't mean not having enough, or what to do with the excess you do have.

I just mean attaching such significance to a simple fucking concept.

It seems everytime you break yourself of the ills, you get sucked right back into it again through exposure to the small world we seem to live in.

I'm tired of it. Fucking tired.

End of rant.

Without something to strive for on a daily basis I would feel lost.

So, you're saying that you've reconciled with yourself the fact that material worth is bullshit, but it keeps you entertained?

Should'nt there be more?

First let me say that making money is a hobby to me. I look at it just like Amp looks at surfing and others look at whatever it is they love to do. I want to do it and be the best I can be at it. I've been that way since I was 6.

But to answer your question material worth is not bullshit. After a certain point you would be correct. However I have a wife and a son so my material worth and cash available is definately NOT Bullshit. If I don't have money to take care of my family what the fuck does that make me? Should I go to the government with my hand out or get off my ass and take care of business?

Money is what makes the world go round. People that say money isn't important either have enough to be confortable or they're ignorant.

I try to make the lives of other people in my life better when I feel I have too much money.

I don't just give it away, but I make efforts to improve the lives of others.

I also find that I will pay models more, invest in new business strategies, upgrade equipment, or >gasp< save some it.

Of course, I also shut off the voice in the back of my head that will stop me from buying something I have wanted.

I try to do all of them in moderation, and also think about what portion can benefit me come tax time next year...

All things said and done, I have found I like life with money more than without. And making it is a great motivation to keep working hard.

Although, once I make more in a pay period, I strive to top that in the next one... so far, I have had significant growth for 4 months straight now.

I have lost everything at one point in my life...I had an entire storage with every single personal belonging in it and due to a minor fuck up it was auctioned off.

I lost not just tv's, vcr's etc...but I lost everything my mother and father gave to me that was mine as a baby...I lost photographs of friends...I lost all my highschool yearbooks...I lost stories and all kinds of writings that spanned my entire life up to that point.

Anyway...after that I learned that it was not worth it...you can't take it with you.

Then all of a sudden I decided I wanted to feel normal again...and started to buy more things...build up my home...my possessions..and then a tornado came and left me living on family's couches for 6 months while people threw away or stole my possessions at the disaster site (my building..LOL)

So once again I learned you can't take it with you.

So here I am now living like a minimalist again ;)

it all boils down to the individual. there are people out there who are perfectly content living life as a drifter with no material wealth. and there are those out there who depend soley on money for their "true happiness". its all relative.

Yes, those that are happy living life as a drifter are on the streets and not begging for money. Everyone else is a liar.

Personally I don't care about owning a huge house or expensive car. Neither have been important to me since I was child.

Without those big money drains its easy to make enjoy cash to have lots of fun.
Its bad to stress about money.
For every person with more money, there are like 10,000 with less then you.
Its all good.

If you have a chunk of money, is it more productive to use it as a down payment for a house or keep it in the bank and let it earn interest? Is it worthwhile to own your own home or is it pretty much useless? It will take around 30 years to pay it off anyways...

I'm bored and just asking q's. Any financial gurus wanna answer?

For years (15) I made in the six figures, got so burned out, I didn't want to look at Scale (scales, scale rental and
software business 25 years). Still not fully recovered and it's been 4 years. I'm dam sure a lot happier. Six figures to
some people doesn't seam like much but I did it with no employee's until the last 3 years with a part time girl in the
office. One thing that took me at least two years to get use 2 was CASH FLOW. A very rude awaking. No three or
four trips a month to Reno.

I'm tired of hearing "money isn't everything".... I've had some rough spots in my life and when you can't even afford ramen noodles or your rent--MONEY IS EVERYTHING...

if you don't worry about money now then in the future you sure as hell will be worrying about it and if you waist too much time now then you will never have what you always wanted, will be too late and too hard to catch up....

Yeah, i think you are right. We don't have to worry about the money. All we have to do is make them and than spend them.
