          That is from a Congressman, not from Trump.

          I don't know how much sway a Congressman (even though he is Vice Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee) has over the Fed. I mean he can complain and all but a letter from a Congressman is just a letter from a Congressman, it carries no authority to do anything. It is simply a Congressman stating his/her opinion.

          We will see how it all pans out.

                      The Fed is not run by the President and only gets its authority from congress...and it is not funded by the US - therefore anyone can throw anything they want at it...the Fed will do whatever it wants - and always has. And they definitely are not a government agency
