      One way is to retweet other people more, as this gets you noticed by them, and they are more likely to follow you.

                              Tweepi is a good tool. Its restricted in terms of how many you can follow / unfollow but avoids you getting Twitter banned. Their sensitivity to automated actions has gone through the roof in the last 6 months.
