Marysville is the next town over, about ten minutes from me so it's big in the news here. Of course all of the Pitbull owners came out saying that Pitbulls are great dogs.

The problem is that not every dog owner "understands animals". I have owned a black lab for 12 or 13 years now, but I honestly don't know much about dogs. Some say the pitbulls are the problem, where are the parents? who raised them in a non-loving or inhumane manor.

The punishment should be directed towards the idiots that buy dogs and treat them like shit, leave them unattended with children, etc etc.

+1 vote, owner(s) of the pitbulls should get punishment, the animals themself are fucked over because careless owners.

Griffin-Heady should be added to the animal abuse registry, because of her irresponsibility with animals which (because of her mistake) caused her brother (RIP, very sad) to be killed. She "secures them in crates" is already most likely inhumane.

She should have lost the right to "sign papers to have the dogs killed" once she decided to leave her small brother alone with them. Hopefully charges will be brought against her.

Sad, but really, that was just an obvious WRONG thing for her to do.
