    Need Champagne for Business Associates

I need to get a gift for a couple of business associates and I thought champagne would be ideal, especially considering the time of year.

I know that there are quite a few raging alcoholics on this board (or at least it seems by reading comments posted here) so I thought this would be the ideal place to ask this question.

I myself do not drink preferring other mind altering substances so I am asking for your suggestions.

I am notoriously cheap so please keep that in mind. I want to balance cost and quality.

    Suggestions?

Since you are cheap. When you say champagne do you mean "official" overpriced champagne that comes from that single region in France or you also mean any other champagne that could not be officially named champagne but nobody cares?

Too much information - I guess any ole "sparkling wine" then.

Veuve Clicquot is pretty much the standard.

Yes... and for my biggest clients I'd send them Dom Perignon.
