Déjà vu. I heard the same phrase on local TV in a day for his death from many people, mostly from rock musicians. Sorry but I don't understand those who promotes themselves as friends of dead celebrities.

Ya gotta understand, someone who nods at you in a record shop in LA and you are a bro.I m glad Jay is doing better, but I honestly dont think the comment is completely uncalled for, when Jay tries to ride the death of a "friend" like this.
It's not like he comes here and explains how he miss him or what impact it had on his life. Its just a link to his blog, where the first priority is to establish the fact he is a friend, and he is one of the first to know.
