A few years ago I was staying at the Aria in Las Vegas, in my room and being bored. I was flipping channels on the TV, and I see they're having a big party for the Senator or Governor or whatever of Las Vegas, Harry Reid.
Now I'm Canadian so I don't know or care much about Harry Reid, but I notice on TV that it says it's in the Aria hotel.. And I was like shit... That's where I am!
So I put on my shoes and decided to go find it.
I got there, walked up to a table, signed my name, they gave me a badge and I walked right on in. It was a weird crowd to say the least. I felt like everyone was there because they had to be.
He got up, gave a speech, everyone was cheering and then confetti starts falling from the ceiling, more cheering.. It was pretty cool.
I think he's a pretty big deal or something. I realized everyone was happy because they had jobs for another 4 years.Comment

I am fairly certain that they would have had the same reaction to ANY political rally regardless of the party.
They all rely on group conformity and mindless stupidity of people lost in a mob mentality.
