    Is this Paxum request standard.

    I have been with Paxum for many years.
    My Paxum card expires 31/01.

    Mid December I applied for a replacement card.
    On the 10th of January I receive a message that :

    Your Paxum MasterCard request was rejected due to the new regulations imposed by the bank that only the Drivers License is not sufficient for the card request to be processed.

    Considering this situation, for your card request to be processed you must submit one more identity document, such as:

    - International Passport;
    - National ID;

    I don't have an International Passport and Australia DOES NOT have a National ID card.
    I provided Drivers License AND proof of address. So I will not receive a replacement by January 31st.

    Why the fuck would they not tell me this mid to late December soon after renewal of card !

    Has anyone ever being able to work around this with Paxum ?

    [ Yes - I have emailed Ruth, but she may be on leave as I have not received a reply. ]

    I do not know, but I would venture a guess that Ruth would be on the road, attending the shows, for example Internext now during 14th-17th of January.

            Seriously. We don't have a national ID.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ies_by_country

            We are at the bottom of that wikipedia link, in "Countries with no identity cards".

                      That's an optional Australian proof of age card Bladewire and not required by law.
                      It is mainly used by people who don't have a driver's license to prove they are over 18.

                      I can request one, but you have to hand in your Driver's License - you can't have both in Australia. So I would still be FUCKED by Paxum's rules requiring TWO forms of photo ID.

                      See the Wikipedia link I provided above that has Australia listed in Countries with no identity cards

                          Ruth cannot do a thing about it. I dealt with the same nonsense.

                          Paxum, a Canadian company, has scans of my Canadian VISA cards (front and back), my Canadian Provincial Driver's License with picture, my Canadian HST TAX ID, my Canadian Provincial healthcard, copies of my Provincial utility bills with civic address, etc. Not enough apparently. They demand a passport.

                          It's laughable that that above is not enough for a card renewal with a Canadian company. And as mentioned, Ruth cannot do squat about it because it appears everything is handled in Romania, or at least that's what Ruth told me where the support is based.

                          This was a few years ago now. For my own part, I felt the above was more than enough to prove Canadian identity. Thus, I just never bothered with the renewal and just switched everything to Payoneer instead. I honestly have no regrets so it turned out well for me.

                          Suffice it to say, you will need to go get a Passport if you want to continue using them.

                          In the end, their service, their rules.
