The only character I didn't want to see again was JarJar Binks, but I was happy to see him back because they did a good job CG job on him, and he had so many wisecracks! And his catch phrase, "Me Love you!" is going to stick in my head for months now. So cute! And who knew he was the one carrying the plans for the new rebel base all along? What a great movie.

I personally enjoyed the analog 2 channel stereo and lack of bass. The scratch and pop sounds were a great reminder of how film sound used to be, and should be again. The noisy fuzzy "warmth" sounded just as good as vinyl records.

Not bad at all, quite enjoyed it. 3D is awesome and we could have had more, such as from the pilots POV in the dogfight scenes, as were some of the backdrops created. Ford out acted the lot of them, that's to be expected. A couple of actors showed their inexperience.

It also has the same tongue in cheek angle.

The only complaint is the writing needs to have been better in getting it away from the set format of Death Star, Evil Ruler, Darth Vader, children who are related to main characters and re-inventing Luke as a girl. Her character and his are too similar. Though to be honest there are 100s of movies that seem to be written by a photocopier.

Well, worth the money, even some of those here to broke to go to the movies.

Watching the other trailers, DC Comics, Marvel and Warcraft spin-offs. This is far better. another case of photocopier instead of a team of writers.
