Quantum Computers will easily crack existing codes yes, but they can also be used to create unbreakable codes, or at least codes that are harder to break.

Found this : Quantum computers could crack existing codes but create others much harder to break

Don't think this is possible I think the network makes changes to itself automatically depending on how much hashing power is thrown at it so even if a quantum computer went to work it wouldn't help. Might be wrong though.
