    Spam me with "Chargeback Management" Companies.

      contact laurel at chargebackhelp (I believe that is a dot com email) to get set up with Ethoca and CDRN, this has helped me manage my chargebacks quite a bit.

      In case you aren't aware, these are companies that purchase alerts from banks who's cardholders report fraud and sell the alert to you in case your descriptor shows up so you can refund before the chargeback comes through.

      Ethoca specializes in "my card was stolen" type complaints and CDRN is better with the "I swear I cancelled that" or "I didn't realize it was recurring" type.

      It's not 100% effective, since not all banks participate but you might see about a 30% decrease or more in CB's after 60-90 days of being signed up.

      You might also notice trends where some traffic is bringing you more alerts than others.

      You can also get the same setup through your gateway if you are on a private MID, but do shop around as the pricing varies quite a bit between re-sellers. Your gateway can likely offer you a good deal, but still never hurts to see what others are offering.

      For overturning chargebacks, that is a pretty time consuming task and I have a back burner project to automate it in the planning stages, but nothing worth discussing yet, except that our non-automated early tests showed pretty significant recovery rates.
