    Red Alert!!! We Webmasters Are Being Ripped Off!!!!!!!

    And you will not believe who it is!

    How?

    These FUCKING 'SPONSORS' ARE NOT PAYING US!!!!!! Call me a 'newbie' but I'm not stupid.

    If a company says it will pay me 35 bucks if a person 'signs up' I believed it and I worked my ass off promoting their site and hoping to get

    paid once I made the sale.

    Here is their SCHEME against us hard-working webmasters:

    1. They promise a .03 cents per blind click or $35 per sale - this is too good to be true guys! They use this to rope us in and promote

    their sites! Wake up and smell the coffee.

    This business model IS NOT FUCKING POSSIBLE. You cannot pay a webmaster $35 per $6.95 sale and stay in business for more that 3 months

    based on the exponential nature of the internet. Our niche site had 75,000 hits in 3.5 weeks!!!!!!!

    Any fucking Harvard business school graduate or street smart drug dealer would tell us that we are being ripped off left, right and center.


    These fuckers are SHAVING legitimate sales to stay afloat.

    How do I know this?

    I fucking passed out my URL to all my friends - and I have hundred of them and 3 told me that I should be a very happy man. Why? Because

    they each purchased subscriptions from 3 DIFFERENT SPONSORS!

    I FUCKING NEVER GOT CREDIT FOR ANY OF THESE SALES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    They even showed me their credit card statements and even logged on to the sites - passwords and everything!!!!!!!


    THIS IS HOW I AM GOING TO GET EVEN:

    Over the next 3 months, I am going to put up a website and keep track of these assholes. And If I don't get credit, I'll post up the fucking

                  Well if sponsors didn't shave now and them I'm sure they'd all be broke by now. There's always people screaming about being ripped off, shaved, cheated etc. Think about it this way, you're still making more than you would if you were surfing with your finger shoved up your ass.. Unless you make the big dollars, in all honesty, a few bucks here and there won't make a huge difference, will it?

                                                              Some do $have, i think . However if they do, I dont think they'd $have 100%. You said each friend bought at 3 sponsors and not one sale showed up? Im sorry that does not make any sense. If you baught 5 and only 4 showed up then that would make sense, hehe.

                                                                          Also, shaving is only necessary when as a sponsor you pay mega $$$ for a lousy free or low cost trial

                                                                          You are absolutely right morpheus123, the business model is impossible, but there are so many webmasters in this industry that think that $2.95 = $40

                                                                          Or the other way to look at it is this. You can get paid $40 for $2.95, just as long as the sponsor in question can rip the surfer off $50 in BS charges (or the sponsor forgets to cancel the memberships upon request by the surfer)

                                                                          And to be honest, do you want to support a sponsor with less than reasonably respectible billing credentials?

                                                                          This year, Visa and MasterCard are going to be hammering our industry good and hard. Sponsors who are not playing by the rules now, are getting black marks against their URL's, and they dont even know it is happening

                                                                          Three little letters will send shivers down the spines of many a sponsor this year - "TMF"

                                                                                      And I will never understand the complacency with the shaving that *does* go on - "just go with the sponsor that does it the least", or "so what? you still make more money here than anywhere else..."
                                                                                      Since when is it okay to get ripped off? If this were your accountant slicing a zero off of your numbers and keeping it for himself, would that be okay because you still had money left?
                                                                                      If your housekeeper was bringing in the groceries you just bought and only brought in 4 of the 7 bags of food and kept the other three for herself, would that be okay?

                                                                                                          Brutus does not shave - I know all of my webmasters and they know me. How they can be sure? If they visit here / or I visit em - I show everything including main stats from processor(s). Know the people you are deling with. No problem. Of course there could be issue about cookeis etc., but sometimes there's no working solution.

                                                                                                              Affiliates themselves have created the shaving problem by running to whatever sponsor has the highest pay per sign-up. This forced programs to have to compete in an area that can be un-profitable without shaving or other tactics. It's that money-up-front-at-all-costs mentatilty that brought this problem. Welcome to the world you created for yourself.

                                                                                                              It's too bad it got so outta control. Probably caused a lot of good clean programs to have to do things they would never have considered until it meant survival of their biz. The repercussions of this phenomenon are felt at every level of the industry. But now that the genie is out of the bottle what do you do?

                                                                                                                          I cant believe someone can say that, Shaving is stealing lol. If you have a agreement that you bring customers to a business and if they buy from that business you get paid. If they are paying to too much for that ,then they have to fix their business model not fuck affiliates lol. Also affiliates that sign up for sponsors that offer $45 a free signup are helping the end of the business we love. For you to get paid $45 for a free sign up that means a customer has to get fucked and when there is no more cc processing in the USA for adult. Everyone can go back to day jobs and for the young ones that never worked day jobs, thats where adults shit on you all day long for little money and you have to smile.

Simple as that. And yes, there is affiliate software out there with built in shaving, but the majority of sponsors don't shave, or ones even with the software that can't shave don't have that activated. Easiest way to not be shaved, use a sponsor you can trust, simple as that. The top trusted ones in my books (Without ref codes) are Topbucks and Pornkings. Why topbucks? Used them forever, consistant ratios, but they are doing more and more to get them even lower (1:80 last period with mixed traffic). Normially it is around 1:150 though if I look over a period, or multiple years. Pornkings, b/c I am converting under 1:30 with them on raw hits. If they were shaving, then fuck, I don't care, they motherfucking convert my traffic, and they count raw hits everytime I hit one of their sites.

                                                                                                                                                                      I have been in this business 5 years and your conclusions are correct that is why we changed to promoting only companies who pay through Epoch or Ibill that way we are certain that we get 100% of the money due to us and on time as well, even Ibill pay us on time.
                                                                                                                                                                      So change to an affiliate program like http://www.busty2.com which makes us a very good living at 60% on all sales or something similar that pays you guys through Epoch and you will get more bucks for you hard work in the long run .

                                                                                                                                                                                          You will find the mom and pop sites like makingbacon.com and 420girls.com, sites which pay you 50% recurring income rather than huge upfront commissions are usually more legitmate.
