I have been in this business 5 years and your conclusions are correct that is why we changed to promoting only companies who pay through Epoch or Ibill that way we are certain that we get 100% of the money due to us and on time as well, even Ibill pay us on time.
So change to an affiliate program like http://www.busty2.com which makes us a very good living at 60% on all sales or something similar that pays you guys through Epoch and you will get more bucks for you hard work in the long run . Cindyxx :thumbsup :thumbsup |

I do agree alot of the sponsors do shave, but this is nothing new. We have known this for a long time.
You will find the mom and pop sites like makingbacon.com and 420girls.com, sites which pay you 50% recurring income rather than huge upfront commissions are usually more legitmate. |

Good point Rand!
you hit that on the money Thinking that you are getting paid more per signups isn't the answer, a good recurring program will prob get you farther |
Dear Morpheus123,
I am the Sales and Marketing Director for Web Entertainment Group Inc. I have reviewed your post. Putting aside whatever issues you may have with Nex-cash, Web Entertainment has been in business for over 6 years. Any of our affiliates, who honor our terms and conditions, will tell you that we honor our commitments with all of our affiliates. That is how we stay in business and how we maintain our excellent reputation with webmasters. We have absolutely no co-branding agreement with Nex-Cash! Nex-Cash is an affiliate like any other affiliates that sign up on our affiliate site, www.wegcash.com. Please contact me immediately if Nex-Cash or anyone else represented to you that they have any kind of a relationship with us regarding co-branding or any other agreement that obligates us to pay anyone but Nex-Cash for traffic sent to us by Nex-Cash. Your beef seems to be with Nex-Cash and not with Web Entertainment. As far as your statement that the payments we promise to affiliates do not work as a business model you are totally incorrect. Our proprietary affiliate program works, we pay our affiliates on time every time and the statements you have made are quite simply wrong! Please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss our affiliate program. As an aside, we went to nex-cash.com and they send the traffic to our various sites. Each of these sites has a place for webmasters to signup directly with WEGCash. Not that we are trying to solicit your business but you are not an affiliate of Web Entertainment. Whatever deal you have with Nex-Cash is between you and Nex-Cash. However we do not like to see our name tarnished in our industry in anyway. We are therefore copying this post and emailing it to Nex-Cash with the instruction that they either resolve this matter with you or demonstrate to us that your complaints are not well founded. If neither of these things happens we will take appropriate action. If you have further questions regarding this matter, please feel free to call me. Sincerely, Tonda Batt Web Entertainment Group Inc. Email: [email protected] ICQ: 61462417 Ph: 714-665-3940 |

Shaving is stealing. It's fraud, theft, ripping you off, etc. A company that would be broke if it can't steal from people doesn't deserve to be in business. |
oh my.... oh well ... let's see... I can't do business with WegCash or Nex.....sounds like they are trouble from reading this thread.

Another effective shave, though <u><i>technically</i></u> it's not shaving & stealing,(<font color="pink">most pay-per-signup sponsers that have the bigger payouts with really seductive and enticing ads that sucker webmasters to promote them seem to utilise it</font>) is to be a sponser that promotes high payouts, has a small,(<font color="aqua">low page size & count</font>) bland tour & you get less than 50% of the popup exit links pointing back to that sponsers other niche sites carrying your affiliate code. <b>-[</b><font color="yellow">Majority of exit traffic goes to another sponser, sponserB, with sponserA's ref. codes</font><b>]</b>
Quite a few around that take your dollars by other means,(<font color="aqua">legit means... just kinda underhanded in approach</font>). Sponsers OFTEN say that they use 3rd party billers so you can't be cheated,[<i><font color="yellow">that's just toooooo funny</font></i> :1orglaugh] ... utilising 3rd party billers does <font color="pink"><b>NOT</b></font> protect your dollars, especially when you often need to use the sponsers linking code that passes through <i><u>THEIR</u></i> domains before going anywhere else... they can just trim the traffic before a surfer even gets to a biller. <font color="#00ff33"><b>YES</b></font> - Even if you link through a 3 party processors set-cookie & redirect to the sponser link beforehand.... Sponsers can still reset/overwrite that cookie before the surfer gets to even see a join/signup button. [<font color="aqua">Something like a 1/200 <u><i>Accident:helpme</i></u> that happens only when a surfer clicks on the join button would be difficult to catch as proof for most webmasters also, unless they were running a script to check all day on those sponsers... but 1/200 on someone that's clicked the join button and so is likely to be a signup 85-90%+ of the time when you have <u>THOUSANDS</u> of webmasters promoting your sites that you can screw-over makes some nice $$$</font>] If you find a truly honest Pay-per-signup or Revsharer sponser then <u><b>AS A BARE MINIMUM</b></u> you'll see a tour that looks enticing if you were to put yourself in the place of a horny surfers mind, get OVER 80%+ of the exit traffic <b>OR</b> they'll have an option for NO POPUP linking,(<font color="orange">payout on pps with no popups will be <B>LISTED</B> as lower due to less 3rd-party/EXIT revenue coming in to the sponser</font>). <b>Ps.</b> If a sponser had a killer site for conversion & retention then they could make more money out of a pay-per-signup system... as such it would be better for them, to <b>BE</b>, pay-per-signup... and I'm talking about them making more money <b>LEGITIMATELY!!</b> <b>PPs.</b> Most webmasters, especially noobs, are it seems, a little lazy at times when it comes to updating sponser links on their websites & links that are on galleries and archived as perminent are supposed to NEVER be modified... AS SUCH.. having BONUS DAYS of ridiculous looking payouts to someone that knows how many crooks there are playing in the sponsers game,(<font color="aqua">someone that's been around the adult porn industry a while</font>) might forget that a <u>LEGITIMATE</u> sponser might loose a few dollars,(<font color="pink">or more than a few</font> :)) on those HUGE PAYOUT days... <font color="#00ff33"><b>HOWEVER</b></font> this does NOT mean that they would need to be implementing a shave and cheating webmasters.. they could be recouperating and <font color="yellow"><b>PROFITING</b></font> immensely from the fact that other sponsers links were swapped out temporarily, or replaced completely by theirs on webmasters sites and galleries, so the money hungry webmaster could perceivably/possibly make more money.. but these links are yet to be changed back to the webmasters usual sponsers,(<font color="yellow">or in the case of galleries are NOT allowed to be changed back</pink> [<font color="aqua">Search engines should find these pages at some stage & index them also</font>]</font>).. as such <font color="#00ff33">YOU CAN</font> offer DOUBLE DAYS or Whatever with HUGE payouts on a signup and still not be cheating anyone. Though I think a lot of the well known names most newbs seem to signup with and promote first, fall into the SHAVE SHAVE SHAVE TRAFFIC OR DROP IDS,[<font color="yellow">ACCIDENTLY {<font color="pink">COUGH COUGH</font>}</font>], HAVE CRAPPY TOURS, POP NUMEROUS OTHER SITES UP WHERE BUGGERALL POINT TO THAT SPONSERS OTHER SITES WITH THE AFFILIATES ID............. <font color="aqua">Poor money hungry noobs that don't research well enough often get caught out by seeing the $$$ signs before thinking about whether they believe the sites could convert well enough for a sponser to pay that much without seeking to screw the webmaster in 1 of 1001 ways.</font> <font color="pink">It's not porn stars and sex theropists that should be writing in the sex journals about how to f.uck someone so good it hurts em' both... sponsers have been doing it for years... and soon hopefully, it'll be the dishonourable sponsers and not just the virginal newbs that'll end up hurting some by getting f.ucked</font> :winkwink: Don't you just Love those sponsers that be the BIG MEGA, I got ALLLLLL these sites & niches aren't I all that... and less than 40% of the exit popups link to one of their other websites.... LOL .. too funny :1orglaugh Anyone can get burnt these days... But also this can be minimised by doing a little research, or a lot, before you promote those sponsers. I just had a squiz,(<font color="orange">just a quick little one</font>) at the NextCash site at <i>nex-cash.com</i> and while they may, or may not, send some traffic to the WegCash program I did not see any mention of a pay-per-signup setup... just a pay-per-<b>CLICK</b>.... Did the page/site change, or do I need more sleep & to look harder? Anyway, I'm not going to say more but I know for a 100% fact some sponsors that have been accused of shaving on a regular basis on this board DON'T. Take it, leave it, I really don't care. Some webmasters seem to jump to all kinds of conclusions when their stats are a little low but never think something is funny when conversions are better than usual. Enough said. |
It really isn't important if sponsors shave or not. All that matters is using the sponsor that makes you the most money, that is, the one that converts well, pays well, and recurs well. I'd much rather use a sponsor that screws me but makes $x a month than the one that doesn't and makes me 1/2 $x a month. (although, ofcourse, that's a bit unlikely)

Colours being pastel in nature be more about the boards background & not creating blur, shimmer, or simply being too difficult to read. Hey TeenGodFather :) Dunno why you can't read it apart from it's wayyyyy long.. lol :1orglaugh ..... Colours should not clash with the board at all unless you have some special themed background, have overridden the webboards colours with your browser or have simply a crappy monitor :) Later, <b>RIPP</b> <b>[</b><font color="aqua">Shane, Aka <font color="orange">noreseller.</font> from old Oxcash forums</font><b>]</b> |

You made it sound before like it was a problem with the colours themselves, not the fact that I may have on looking back mixed a few too many in with the post. Anyone would think by your reply I had started criticising your life partner, infront of both your families, on your wedding day... lol... relax.. I'm not what would sometimes appear to be the typical GFY'er that is awaiting the oppertune, or often, inoppertune moment to tell someone to GFY.. lol :1orglaugh <b>[</b>Means I don't have a fetish for BBS fights on GFY.. lol<b>]</b> It was a long long long post... so I used on reflection a few too many different colours... what doesn't kill you makes you stronger... I'm sure you'll survive :) <b>Ps.</b> If you actually read the post, no matter how annoying you find the colours, you might find the content is something you actually agree with. I also don't have a large affil proggy, all my affils are friends who I taught how to webmaster, but even if I had a large proggy I would not shave. I am so completely against shaving that I track traffic with BOTH cookies AND embedded tokens in URL. Even if surfer has cookies turned off, I still credit my affil. I don't understand people who shave. Whether trading traffic or making sales, I have always made my money by being trusted. When the webmaster trusts you and is sure you don't fuck him, he sends you more traffic and you both make more money. The affils know. My most active affil tells me all the time how he always makes more sales when he sends the traffic to me. In my affil reports I list the username, the date joined, the current status of that member, and other info. My affils know I credit them with every single sale. |
Good to see Tonda post that. I was going to mention that I would list WEG at the top of my list of programs that I do trust! The ones I don't trust.........I don't promote.
