    I think that it is dumb for the President

    ...to invite anyone from the mid east into our country be they refugees or not. There are apparently already some refugees in my State and the State of Washington...I am not sure what the numbers are?

      How will you survive man? Sounds like you live in a battlefield. Scared to go outside?

              Lol small fraction? And even if that were true why risk it?

              The line up for visas into the USA is crazy. Why not use the resources to bring in others that you are certain where there is no small fraction.

                  I will survive just fine. I do not live in a battlefield. I do not fear. Even IF it is a small fraction it will be trouble that could be avoided by not allowing them into the country. I do not need you to tell me what my concerns should or should not be.

                                  Why risk it? Because it's the right thing to do. They are fleeing persecution. If I lived there and had kids you can bet your ass I'd flee too. Your son fights for them or dies and you can only imagine the horrors little girls face.

                                  You just have to do the best screening possible. The process is 12 to 24 months for a Syrian to get into the US.

                                                                                                          The 85k 2016 and 100k 2017 numbers are just goals and includes all refugees from around the world. Not just Syrians. Africans, etc. The chances of us hitting those goals are zero. Much like our official unemployment numbers. Fantasy.

                                                                                                          Since 2012 to last month only 1,854 Syrians have been allowed into the US. The current goal for just Syrians is 10k which we won't meet.

                                                                                                          But so what? A country of 330m can't handle 100k more people? At least they'd be here officially unlike the 12m illegals.
