@j3rkules: Thanks for this post. As of now I've tried posting from imgur and relevant links from my blog also. But I really liked the idea to use imgur image with your own site watermark and post it in comments. Will try it. I didn't get that much traffic from Reddit as the niche is adult. Can you please suggest some subreddits where I can find and post/comment some adult related content?

I wouldn't try it. Usually they get reported and I personally mark as spammers the ones using this technique. And I can tell you I removed a lot of these posts in this morning.
Also you breake IP laws using an image you don't own using your domain watermark.

Yes...

1. Create your branded account
2. Let it age around 30 days or comment on other stuff for about 4 days
3. Create Sub Reddit (Your account must reach an certain age or Karma Level)

Use IFTT to feed your content into your own sub and set back and hope it grows. But it helps to keep your account active in other places as well.

Hi Jerkules!
great thread thanks!
i read about reddit, and had no much idea about what it was, and how could we use it to increase our traffic. So your info its really useful.
But it isnt easy, and have to dedicate too much time..
When i looked ant it, it seemed very confusing to me, maybe is because am not used to it
will take a look again!

Make an account for yourself. Start playing around and finding groups of things you like outside of work. Before you know it you will have an understanding of how to comment and place links.

Once you can hunt down SubReddits about topics you enjoy for fun doing it for adult is easy.

OmahaJoe 06-23-2020 12:15 PM

Fyi

NOTE:
Reddit Traffic Does not track will in Google Analytics. If you are posting in a sub you control then use a UTM code.

If you do not control the sub then contract the owner and ask if you can use UTM codes and not affiliate codes.

Don't get caught using affiliate codes too many times or Mods will bust your account and if you get reported to many times you will get banned.

This sucks if you loose an account with thousands of links and over 20k in Comment and post Karma

Reddit traffic is with poor quality....you get traffic but no clicks

Are you posting to other subs or the sub you run?
It could also be a setting in the sub that you are running.... Send me the link

I have not had this experience. I get decent conversions as well as do ok clicks especially tube content dropped into a sub that is topic specific.

Just need to be very sure your really posting in Subs that deal with your content. Don't post a BJ video in a lesbian sub etc etc.

1. I used other social media to bring people to my Sub
2. Cross posting when you can. (This can take time and research)
3. Contact other sub admins and see if they will post a link in the header nav to your sub if you give one back
4. Find others willing to trade those links
5. Make sure your titles are specific (Milf Gives Great Blowjob on a boat) This way when you do get indexed by the site your show up for any one searching Milf Blowjobs

OmahaJoe 06-24-2020 09:32 AM

Just a side note.

Posting links from PH can get your account shut down quick if the content is reported. I have had some DMCA videos pulled and caused the accounts to be shut down. So now I only use content from verified studios etc.

So if I find a good Milf BJ video on PH I wont import it into my tube site that I promote on Reddit because if the DMCA is sent to PH Or Reddit and the video is taken down Both Reddit and the mods are on it quick. Reddit will even tell you they pulled the link due to DMCA even though they are not hosting the content. Have this happen more than 6-7 times and pop goes your account.

Firstly, mods have zero to do with this if it's a DMCA issue.

Secondly, it's more likely that mods like myself have reported your account to admins for being a spammer than the account being removed for some DMCA issue. We are acutely aware that a lot of you use HubTraffic to spam PH links. On a couple of very, very big subs I control, I don't even allow that domain to be used unless an approved submitter because of small time affiliates and verified models abusing PornHub's authority / trustworthiness.

Perhaps read Reddit's user agreement for their DMCA policy. It's very transparent. https://www.redditinc.com/policies/user-agreement

The more likely scenario is that now staff have seen your account and can see the obvious spam, so you got nuked. :thumbsup

I have a slight twist on this method. This works especially well for tube sites.

1. - Find a video you want to promote
2. go to redgifs and upload the video
3. Use redgifs to create a small clip of a really good scene.
4. Post your clip from redgifs to related subreddit.
5. Under the post, leave a comment saying "sauce: ht*p://linktovideo"
6. Watch the traffic roll in.

This does work great for tubes. I just hope redgifs does not go the same route as Gfycat
