Вот только это в теории. На практике, С300 не оснащаются ядерной БЧ, ибо слишком стремно это из соображений собственной же безопасности - есть же специально разработанные искандеры и точки-у для этого.

Seems they did in fact plan on using it to deliver nuclear weapons. Common sense tells you this should be expected - small tactical nuclear devices were rather common on the battlefield during the cold war. A perfect example of this is the "Davy Crockett".

Ok, I'll agree with you. They really able to carry a tactical nuke warhead if extremely needed. However they never did it in the real life. Russia already has special low-range missile systems to deliver a nuke inside the Europe. Those (besides the cruise missiles of course) are Точка-У aka SS-21 "Scarab A" and Искандер aka SS-26 "Stone" (those were sent to Kaliningrad to aim the American base in Poland). That's how they look in the real life:



So there is no need to use S300 system for that :)

P.S. Actually tactical nukes can be delivered with almost everything. Even as a shell (e.g. Мста-С, Гиацинт-С etc).
