I could not single out anything, I like food, but there were no "wow" factors. Just very tasty, but that goes for lots of food.

Personally I like Biltong, I wouldn't say it was my favorite food and you would be hard pushed to include it as part of a main dish. But well..

It's mostly in the taste.
I love eggplant and meat, so it's a no-brainer for me.

I see where you are coming from though, but if it's well prepared, the consistency should still be there, not feel like mashed stuff.
