    Please review my blog

    Hi,

    beautifulpornpics com

    1500 UV/day. It has 58% bounce rate. I tried basic WP theme and it went to 62%. How would you improve it? Current theme supports responsive graphics (they say). Thanks.

      Pictures are too big (it takes way too long to scroll to the bottom of the page), you have to resize them. It suppose to be a porn pictures site, but it is too much text heavy, so less text more pictures in one gallery on each post. Check out these sites to see how it can be done:

          Picture size is set in template. I had another template from WP with smaller pictures, but it had higher bounce.

          Less text, more pics sound good. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

              Your site looks so bad with these huge pictures, you should switch turdpress with something better.

              Something like that would fit better : Free Photos at Mechbunny TGP

              Or a pin script.

                  I'm thinking that using smaller thumbnails with a masonry-type grid (pinterest style) would be good. Having text excerpts with the thumbnails is fine, but try to keep them short. Also, the two menu buttons at the top seem useless and confusing. One makes the menu appear to the left and one makes it appear to the right, but there's only one link on them, which is to the home page. I got a popunder or something when I clicked on the left menu button, which was annoying. You also have to scroll way to the bottom to get to the items that should probably be in a sidebar or something.

                  A really good and flexible theme that I use a lot is the Divi theme from ElegantThemes. It's premium but you can use it for so many things.

                      I like it for desktop its different but i didn't try on mobile hopefully pics gets way smaller on them though hehe

                          So I tried Pinterest-like theme as MzStevens said. It doesn't seem to have any effect on traffic yet. It still seems to have 60% bounce in average. That's way too much. I have one pop-up window there as that's the only way of making money from this site. I tried 247mg.com affiliate program (top 4 - pakistan, kenya, india, usa) and sent like 4000 UV, but $0.

                          Focus: Pics size responses to the size of display, so it was smaller on mobile phones, but sidebar was messed up.

                          I think I will experiment with themes until I found some that will perform better.

                              It looks much better now! Give it some time. What sort of methods are you using to get traffic? are you having your new posts auto-post to twitter and other social media platforms?

                              The navigation bar seems rather empty, if you're just using it to display categories, maybe you can make some text posts with affiliate links in them just for some variety (with a great looking featured image of course). Or you can use multiple categories in each post like blonde, brunette, ebony, teen, etc. Or maybe make a few pages with some recommended porn sites (that you have affiliate accounts with of course). Popunders aren't the only method of monetization and it's one of the most annoying ones from a user standpoint. Also, they often get blocked by ad blockers.

                              Another design tip is maybe take one of the photos on your site and make it into a wide header image that you can put the site name text over. If you need help creating a header image, I can make you one for $25.

                                      Bounce went to 66%, so I had to change theme again. New one also works on my mobile phone properly.

                                      MzStevens: I use Twitter to collect followers to my main channel, I don't use separated accounts for different sites, so I don't auto-post new articles. Anyway this blog gets a lot of traffic from Google anyway - like 1300 per day - and increases almost every day. Traffic is 60-70% from mobile phones.

Anyway can you guys check your google traffic stats during 01/14-15? My traffic went down by like 60%. It's not new site. It's 3 years old.
