While have no emotional connection to either team, I was happy to see KC win. In my book it is always great when a small market team with a mid-level payroll wins the World Series.

goes to show how starting pitching alone can get you to the show. Other than the starters, nothing about the mets is championship level. not the pen, not the offense, not the defense, not the manager. last year the mets weren't even a contender.

I've never seen a World Series more poorly managed than what Terry Collins did to the Mets.
His pitching decisions were almost all bad. Always took his starter out a batter or two too late.
The Mets loss rests at his feet.
If my Giants had the Mets' starting rotation we'd win almost every year instead of just every other year
