    Billy Ford called the mr. Trump and said he will keep his plant in Kentucky instead of moving to mexico.

    Apple ceo called mr. Trump and said they intend to make phones in the US again instead of china.

                          They are thinking of moving production of the Lincoln MKC small SUV out of the Louisville Assembly Plant so it could make more Ford Escapes there.

It's important to note that the discussions began in June, five months before Trump won the election.

                                                                                                                              Apple making a lot of profit on one flagship product doesn't mean a whole lot. That subsidizes R&D for new products / current, smaller product lines, etc., as well.

                                                                                                                              They're not going to lose 10% profit margin (and thus stock price) just for shits and giggles.

                                                                                                                              Also, their effective tax rate is already far below 15%. Like I said, that's irrelevant.
