wow. my modem must be telling bt all sorts
I had an interesting week.
My broadband was a pain for a few hours. So I contacted BT online. The interesting thing was they know that my hub thing was connected to 3 wifi devices. So clearly my hub is sending bt all sorts of info. Bit big brotherish.

The private network address is contained in every IP packet sent over the internet so the response packet is routed to the correct computer on your public IP address. This is how a router or a switch functions. Your ISP is the the common carrier of your public IP Address and they have to read the headers in every packet to route it.  |
