    News People are getting shot by toddlers on a weekly basis 2015

    kids these days!

    'But cases like this happen a lot more frequently than you might think. After spending a few hours sifting through news reports, I've found at least 43 instances this year of somebody being shot by a toddler 3 or younger. In 31 of those 43 cases, a toddler found a gun and shot himself or herself......

    ...These numbers are probably an under-count. There are likely instances of toddlers shooting people that result in minor injuries and no media coverage. And there are probably many more cases where a little kid inadvertently shoots a gun and doesn't hit anyone, resulting in little more than a scared kid and (hopefully) chastened parents.'

      The right to bear arms is to enable Americans to protect themselves from corrupt government. And since the government now has nuclear warheads, it's only reasonable that every American should have their own nuclear warhead. Including toddlers.

          yes i have heard this right to bear arms / warheads before..

          it's just in iraq and afghanistan, the local population did very well with just small arms, so the concept still stands.

          however, in this matter, it seems the states with big gun cultures seem to have the most deaths.. as i posted, California apparently has none

                          seems more like an unfortunate accident based on being new to hunting

                          that being said, i wonder how far a nationwide drive on weapon education would go? surely not a solution, however definitely could help in cutting down on gun deaths

                              That being said I'm all for laws that punish whoever left a gun out for a child to get their hands on, most states that have a law like that won't prosecute a parent that just lost their kid... they should.
