    Data Roaming (UK - NZ)

    Hi Guys

    Im taking a trip in January to New Zealand and i currently have a UK Unlimited Data Plan. The part of NZ im visiting does not have very good cabled internet, but from the map it appears that it has very good 3G and 4G signals near the beach-house.

    Does anyone know the best way for me to take advantage of this? I guess just get an NZ Sim-Card and use a hotspot with my Macbook?

                  I don't know it - I lived on the south Island...

                  Too long ago to be any help on the internet thing I am afraid - The mobile network was always pretty good though.....

                  Edit: I just saw where it was on the map - Whitianga just up the coast is well worth a visit - I spent a week there once...

                      Im flying into Auckland and spending a few nights there. Im then going to the north island for a few weeks, to stay at a friends beach house.

                      Will probably checkout milford sound at some point too.
