    is acpay cheating???

A few weeks ago I started to become a reseller for a few sites that use acpay. I signed up for 4 sponsors to find out if everything is ok and if their content is good enough to generate rebills. With 3 sites everything worked well and the commision was credited, the fourth one did not work (I think the webmaster is cheating).

Today I checked my stats again and the first 3 signups showed up as refunded and my comission was deducted. I contacted acpay and they wrote back to me:

    >>> We issued three refunds for fraudulent transactions (spreadsheet attached).
The transactions came in at different times, but the refunds were all
    processed June 26. <<<

The 3 transactions were my own. I checked my creditcard balance right away and found out that they never issued a refund and access to all 3 sites I signed up for is locked.

Looks like acpay is keeping money in their own pockets that belongs to the webmasters and the resellers. I think this is not very trustworthy!!!!

I might be worth waiting a little longer, I find that refunds can take several days to be properly processed. It's great how they can grab your funds in mere seconds, but it takes days to reverse transactions.

BTW... do test signups by all means, but in general since it's under your own refid it's unethical - you are effectively getting the membership for half price. I would have notified the processor and program webmasters immediately after the test signup(s), letting them know that I was doing it for non malicious reasons, and inviting them to reverse the charge if they wished.

Did you ever think that the program owner of the site you were with, might of recognized your name, then recognized a sale with that same name, in the acpay admin, we can cancel, credit and all those other wondeful things

I will let you get back to sitting in the corner of your room while adjusting your tinfoil hat.

The AC Pay affiliate system relies exclusively on variable passing and can be a bitch to get working properly. We had to simplify our website greatly to get it all to work. You can see your affiliate ID in the URL if the webmaster is using shtml, so it's easy to see what is going on.

Doing a test signup on a revshare program is not cheating.
