George Jr. is making more money than his daddy selling weapons
Like father, like son... but even better..
George W. did a better job on making this war a controversy all over the world and raised a higher concern amongst other nations, than his dad did during the gulf war. USA is gonna sell even more weapons than last time. This should be good for the economy. Ever thought this could be one of the main reasons for this war in the first place? I'm not sure about that, but its not hard to see there's a lot more going on than the "war on regime" bullshit that Bush has been throwing around. And there's also more to it than oil. Now Turkey also approved the use of their airspace by US forces and sending of turkish troops over to Iraq.. both have been voted yes, at the same time.. Hmm, lets guess what country Turkey might buy weapons from now?

Turkey, Greece and other countries are obligated to buy weapons from USA no matter what. The pressure they receive reach blackmail levels on multiple levels.

Turkey has always been a large purchaser of weapons, number three on the list I believe from Nato since they are a member. They are more likely to use it agaisnt Kurds though, that is why I would be suprised to see too many Turkish troops across the border into Northern Iraq as that is a Kurdish stronghold and would provide many more political problems then support thier troops would bring.

How does US know that Iraq has weapons that needs to be disarmed? Because Bush Sr. kept the receipts!

A friend of mine owns a large mfg. company that produces night vision goggles and weapons systems for the US military. He's making a ton of money right now.

did you know they re-elected the government in turkey to have this vote again? its amazing how the bullshit piles up..
and during this re-election they put this political criminal to the head of state. the last government changed the law so he could be elected. all this happened in a month or two. the re-election was only in a single city because they found out there was "cheating" involved, and this changed only 1 or 2 members of the parliement. and this same exact parliement votes NO first and YES the second time? go figure.

Kurds are gonna see the US attack as an opportunity to grow their stronghold or even declare their independency and form a state in northern Iraq. This is what the Turkish government doesnt want to happen and is the first reason that turkish troops would be sent to Iraq. All this is triggered by the US attack. It's not gonna be a war only between US and Iraq. US makes a lot of money when two other nations attack eachother, just like they did when Iraq and Iran were in war, several years ago. As I said, there a lot more to it than we all think.

Lane--- Not arguing your point just pointing out that we already do supply them with alot of weapons and yes that number will increase but it is not like it went from zero...
As far as Turkish troops they are just establishing a buffer zone from what I am reading and they wont be heading deep into Iraq, as you say they are just trying to keep the Kurds on thier side of the border from getting any ideas fro mthe Iraqi kurds. |
