I am guessing that Putin and Netanyahu made a noninterference agreement before the Russian invasion of Syria. The PA's allies are preoccupied in Syria or in the case of the Gulf States; are requesting military aid from Israel in the form of Iron Dome antimissile defense systems for the perceived missile threat danger from Iran.
The Israelis have a free hand right now to deal with this 3rd Infada that is developing

I'm not sure what sparked the latest round of fighting but.... The Israelis just bitch smack them around every time. At some point Israel is just going to say "enough is enough" and just do what they need to do. I'm not saying Israel is in the right here, but there is just no chance anyone is going to beat them. Even if they could, the United States and others would step in to protect them.
Instead, the Middle East calls it "the setback" and pretend that some day they might just beat the Israelis. Not gonna happen.

I lived in Israel for 3 years have dealt with these issues in the early 80's. 60% of the Israelis want to kill every Arab on their land and 80% of the Arabs want to exterminate every Israeli on their land. That was then maybe now it is even more radicalized. These are the realities on the ground. There is little will to compromise.
The Oslo Accords with respect to the Palestinian's territory and Jerusalem are Jimmy Carter's well intentioned but disastrous deed -- Bill Clinton's and Obama's continuance of the same failed ideology. Abbas is the one who has proclaimed the PA's abandonment the Oslo Accords ironically. The PA and Hamas should be placed under arrest, the Likud coalition government be removed, and the few Palestinians and Israelis that have a will for peace should impose a settlement that both sides can live with with no further hostilities.
This will never happen, so there will be continued bloodshed and controversy for 100's of years (another few 1000 years? until the end of the world?). Jerusalem has since antiquity been held by the strongman as most of the Middle East is this way. Including: the Canaanites, Kings Saul, David and Solomon of bible fame, Alexander's Greek-Assyrian Empire, Nebuchadnezzar, Darius, the Roman Empire, Saladin, the Ottomans, Napoleon, the French and British Mandates and now the State of Israel.

It's all about perception and this infographic paints Israel out to be a land grabbing bad guy. But if you review history, you would completely understand how and why Israel now has that amount of land.
The Arabs kept attacking them and they kept beating the shit out of their Arab attackers. In retribution, they kept the land they conquered. They did it for safety reason as well. It helped them define and strengthen their borders against the inevitability of more Arab attacks.
Israeli war of independence - November 1947
"At the end of the war, the State of Israel kept the area that had been recommended by the UN General Assembly Resolution 181 as well as almost 60% of the area allocated to the proposed Arab state"
Six-Day War - June 1967
