    Oscar Pistorius to be released from prison.

    That was quick. I hope someone steals his feet.


    "Oscar Pistorius, the South African Paralympic star convicted of killing his girlfriend, will be released from prison next week after serving a year of his five-year sentence.
    Pistorius was convicted in 2014 of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013.

    "During trial, Pistorius had contended that her death was an accident, and that he had believed a burglar was in his house when he fired through a closed bathroom door. After the trial, Pistorius was acquitted of the charge of murder, but convicted of culpable homicide, South Africa's equivalent of manslaughter. Pistorius is imprisoned at the Kgosi Mampuru II prison in Pretoria.

      What's the point in giving a sentence if it won't be served ??
      Even at 5 years that was pretty damn let off the hook. But a year ??

      Surely her family are not happy about this...

                              Not if it is a genuine accident. I mean you could be the best person on earth or even Mother Teressa and accidentally kill someone. Certainly does not warrant "long long" time.

                                  This guy is a coward. Absolutely disgusting as he is so used to getting attention for being a victim that he felt confident enough to murder her and then pretend like he was acting out of fear for his life. Next he will be a "victim" of the entire world because they will shun him for the rest of his life.

                                  Equally as disgusting is the fact that if the genders were reversed in this situation then most people would be much more accepting that she shot through a bathroom door out of fear for her life. You dumbfucks know who you are.
