    Rant Any Namecheap customers here?

Have you looked at their new account admin?

I wouldn't say the look is bad, the fact that you cannot find anything, they removed pretty much all functionality and made everything take 5 times as long.

    Anyone else experienced this?

There was a NC rep on here at one stage, I cannot believe they are this inept.

Adding Name Servers - wow what a dumb ass process that is

I'm not a huge fan of the new design but I would give it some time to become more embedded before you pass judgement. It's a big task switching over and priority will be stability before evolving the functionality. The beauty of the old control panel was how easy it was do basically reach the functionality that you needed and then perform the operation.

I still have a few domains there, but slowly move them to Namesilo/Name.com. That new NC account admin sucks, their prices aren't anything great too.

Then why didn't they beta test before implementing? Better yet, why change it? The old system worked far far far better than this.

this is the dumbest part of the new upgrade, especially for those with a large amount of domains. i have hundreds of domains i transferred out that still show up now and apparently no way to remove them.

The big mistake they made was to keep hinting at changing it - thinking that if no-one objects, then its fine to go ahead. I saw the hints and I cringed every time I saw them but at the end of the day it's really easy to communicate with customers.

NameCheap is still superb in so many respects but all they had to do was "ask" to know that the biggest draw of Namecheap was that yellow platform which is everyone loved because it was so easy to use.

I don't see those in my domain list anymore. Maybe ask their support.

Can't leave well enough alone. Someone has to fuck things up so they look busy. I've been moving to a couple of new registrars for the past year as domains come up for renewal. Namesilo I recommend for the serious webmaster. Easy to navigate and good security.

After the way the front end was implemented, I thought they may have actually listened and I guess since it took so long to implement, I guess I was hoping they just were not going to do it.

I have to say, why on earth is it ok to implement a system that just does not work and then say *we're sorry for the inconvenience, it will get better in the next few weeks*.

Well fellas, we need to use this right now!

I agree, for one the live chat is excellent, always get my questions answered quickly with little fuss. The only problem is they will never ever ever listen to a single damn thing we say when it comes to how we want to interact with their website.
