I don't know the social standing of that source, but there are many other sources with the same exact story.
I've read it all. And I bet you CyberSEO will try to pretend like it didn't happen. He was/is a corrupt politician that sealed his future by making underhanded deals and fucking over the population like you see today.
He bombs his own population and Russians cheer him.
I sometimes wonder how these peoples minds get trapped growing up in a dictatorship. Doesn't human instinct kick in and you realize something isn't right? But nope he keeps drinking the Koolaid.
And what should I see there? I'm not mad at all, I'm just sad for the buyers because of insufficient lighting in that market. Here in Russia the owner will be fined for that. That's is how the properly set light in the food market should look like (700 -1000 Lux is a standard here):
You're mad because in the far reaches of the USA people have access to food. This does not exist in russia. Your fate should not be determined by your proximity to the kremlin.

If you said it about Putin so... you are absolutely correct. I think the same.

I don't know what he bombs, but far not all Russians cheer him. Your sources of information suck, as well as the average level of your education. I believe that's because your parents were too poor and you was to dumb to get a degree in some good university. Sad to be you
When a first pilgrimage came to America... How does it relate to the modern Russia?

What exactly does not exist in Russia? Food stores? Supermarkets? Hypermarkets? Wow, you are even dumber than a dumb can be. At least according to my scale...
The images I posted above are from Auchan a hypermarket chain where we buy the products for a week. When we go for a daily shopping we go to Billa - there are two of them in 2 minutes of walking from my home. And yes we really have much better lighting there than in one shown at your picture (it looks sad and gloomy).
P.S. I can tell you what really does not exist in Russia anymore. This:
We have no feed stamps since the Gorbachev times ("When Boris Yeltsin went grocery shopping in Clear Lake - The Texican")

Move the story away from Moscow and things do look different - I personally know people in Saint Petersburg who are having a hard time, and as the situation gets worse so does the corruption...
Full supermarket shelves do not equal full cupboards in the average kitchen.....

You said it like you know it. No, they won't. All those supermarket and hypermarket chains spider the whole Russia (click at the "Auchan" link above and take a look at the list of cities from western to the eastern borders of Russia). And that's only one of them. The one I'm used to buy food at. There are many others in other cities. If you really think that the choice of food is somehow different there, you are as dumb as the OP (who is a proven imbecile). Haven't I told you that I wasn't born in Moscow? I came here from a very distant Siberian city. It's located much far away from here than a size of the whole England in a 2 hour shifted time zone. I still have friends there and visiting them from time to time. So there is something that tells me that I know better than you about Russia far away from the place where I live now...

Why not? [spoiler: click the link below and check the prices]
Ah... I've almost forget about that post. Here you go: http://gfy.com/20199483-post39.html - the pics I took with my Galaxy SII in Billa market right near my home. Please note the prices there ($1 is about 62 rubles). Do your math
For the O.P.: now look how the proper lighting must look like according to the Russian standards, because lighting on your picture just sucks (I can barely see the food there).

guys just give it up, you'll never convince him. It's all he's ever known. Like when you sleep in nothing but a tent for the first 10 years of your life when the savior putin builds a small shack with a wood burning stove you think it's the greatest country on the planet. It's just all perspective and they have none since that is the goal of the russian government.
Convince with that? How an uneducated low life 3rd-world village idiot like you can convince me to the a "knowledge" about my country? A "knowledge" you've got from Fox and CNN? You're a clown who can't even imagine how stupid you do look like...

I have never understand the obsession with Putin among the US rednecks. If you guys love him a lot, go continue licking his asshole (maybe because your own president is even more stupid than him). Personally I have never voted for him nor supported his politics. So if you gonna lick him off, do it by yourselves, clowns. I won't participate in your peasant fag orgy.
Billa sucks donkey balls in comparison to most American ones. We have them here in Prague and they look identical to your pictures. I keep hoping that an american grocery store will make the jump over to mainland Europe.

Billa is just a chain (one of many). The products and prices there vary from a country to country.

No, they are not. We have very strict lighting standards here and I really like it. The picture posted by OP is too dark and gloomy, like some village basement (just look at those long and ugly shadows). Sorry, but I don't like it.
You guys live in the North Korea. If you really believe that we are starving here, then how are you different to those who is being fed with the "news" like this?
Do you really believe in that bullshit? It's 21th century. We all have the Internet (youtube, google etc). Why do you still believe to the NK-style propaganda? Are you that stupid? If I want to see how the US people live like... I simply book a flight ticket to the States. Why can't you buy a ticket to Russia and look at it from inside? Do you really so poor and can't afford it? Maybe you should find a new job and finally relocate from the mom's basement? Get an international passport already and explore the world outside your hole. The "outer" world is amazing - just believe me ;)

If there's a definitive way to light a grocery store, the company that runs the stores in the photos I posted above have figured out exactly what that is. They have the grocery selling business down to a science. It is generally accepted by the rest of the industry and the rest of the companies do their best to play catch up.

Congratulations on getting the internet and grocery stores in Russia!
USA:
Best schools on the planet
Smartest population
Best athletes
Best business oppurtunities
FREEDOM
Invented: Internet, electricity, cars, NFL
Russia:
Wait in line for bread
Shit cars
Shit weather
Snobby women
Bad food
Lack of personality
All athletes leave to go to the big US of A
All scientists want to work for American universities
I didn't get your "joke" again. Maybe because I can't step down to your level... California is not in Russia (learn the geography already) so we have no problems with water here. I pay about 30 rubles (less than half of a dollar and it's the higher price in Russia) for a cubic meter of clean water. I'm using that water for washing only because I prefer to drink the bottled one. Now tell me how much do you pay for water?

P.S. Your "US Good, Russia bad" posts don't work to me. You have never been to Russia, so you are just a clown. A very stupid and sad clown, I'd say.

Some pics from your post look lighten enough, some - not. But I can't tell it for sure by looking at the pictures only. A level of light in the grocery stores here must be about 700-1000 Lux according to the standards. The lighting can be easily measured with a simple device like this:
Move the story away from Moscow and things do look different - I personally know people in Saint Petersburg who are having a hard time, and as the situation gets worse so does the corruption...

You say that like it's not happening in good old Blighty. Heck it's a reality in most countries these days, I would have thought.
Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
