I liked that it was slow...and really felt like a totally different show than original Walking Dead. They made it all about the characters and put the zombies in the background. So if you want to see scene after scene of CGI head traumas to zombies, then it probably won't be for you.
Too much fake badly acted drama, too many stupid mistakes, too many soft hearted liberals. And an army that's so badly armed, it's a joke.
If this were to happen, there would be bombs dropping, Tanks, APCs, Apaches, lots of those machine guns that spit out 100s of rounds a minute, flame throwers, mortars and soldiers who know how to use them. Those guys last night looked like your average hillbilly militia.

Even in the walking dead threads I always told to people: the show is about characters and drama, not about zombie action.
When people cried about "not enough zombie action" in some episode.
Zombies are just the thing which creates the doom atmosphere which makes peoples lifes very different, interactions different, unusual etc.
Besides that zombies are even irrelevant.
Of course they have to use the action as well, to cater to many people who do not get that and think it is about fights with zombies
