The world will be completely embroiled in war but Europe will be the epicenter.
Basically, Europe will change hands.... millions will die and it's all down to the incompetence of politicians.
By the way, you can read just about any Nostradamus (a French Seer who lived hundreds of years ago) interpretation book published over the last century and you'll see that a devastating invasion of Europe is the most prominent of the predictions he made throughout his writings about forthcoming events. According to him, it appears that he was pointing to a long three decade war starting around this time in history.
I won't spoil it for you in case you haven't read any of the books but in summation, it's a *REALLY* ugly picture much worse than WWI and WWII but (according to his writings), it won't be the end of the world."In a Time of Universal Deceit, Telling the Truth is a Revolutionary Act." - George OrwellComment

I don't know about the world, but I can predict about the people. Everyone will have his "personal Device" which will have a Computer, Mobile, Music, Internet and everything else built inside it. People will always seems to be busy with there devices, and will rarely talk to each other or form new relationshipComment

I think the world will be exactly the same.
Every month here on GFY someone will warn us WWIII is coming, and it seems like we go from one crisis to another. After watching thirty years of this you discover this is really perfectly normal.
South Korea is threatening the world with a nuclear bomb, and we are all worried about Iran (who has never attacked anyone). Russia is interfering with Ukraine but doesn't seem to be gaining much ground, and Syria has fallen apart and ISIS has risen up. If you look at any period of time and there is always a number of conflicts and hot spots, but none of these have the potential to start a world war.

That's the "very often repeated line" but at the end of the day, it's however you take it.
Although "can be" hasn't "actually been" in one respect - after reading 20 or so books on the subject by the scholars about a decade ago, not one digresses from a very obvious central message of a major invasion of Europe.
So much so, that there are hundreds of books on Nostradamus with "Invasion of Europe" included in the title or on the cover published over the last hundred years (many still available on Amazon). Largely because most of his writings are basically dedicated to an event describing a muslim invasion of Europe and hinting at a time which seems to resemble ours. He's also very explicit about motivations, countries and cities involved.
Well I keep an open mind. Of course, it could all be nonsense but if I remember rightly Italy and France come first in the chronology.
So I guess we'll find out soon enough...."In a Time of Universal Deceit, Telling the Truth is a Revolutionary Act." - George OrwellComment

Wow... if I were some of you people, I would just kill myself. You're outlook on the world is so bleak!
Here's what I see:
- The world will be a better place. The future is coming at us fast, and despite the occasional fights and wars, the world will improve.
- Pollution and air quality will probably get worse for a while, but since we have the tools to see and identify the problems, slowly policies will change, and the amount of pollution we pour into the air and water will drop.
- Instead of phone and tablets, I predict we will begin seeing people "wet wired" into the Internet. A Tiny little device planted in our heads, maybe just behind the ears, will serve up all the Internet content we want, let us communicate with everyone instantly. We'll also all be able to Google-search anything just by thinking about it. We'll all be insta-smart.
And don't forget - soon we'll be going to Mars... ! (And hopefully Europa, my favourite moon).
I'm super excited for the future and really think that the world, or at least many parts of the world, will be bright and beautiful and fantastic.Comment

Along with pollution, we'll see a lot of other climate changes. I think the the past one thousand years have been very clam weather wise, and we'll see a lot of changes that will require tons of adjustment. The oceans are going to rise which will cause huge issues being as here in the US our largest cities tend to be on the coasts. Entire countries will disappear.Wow... if I were some of you people, I would just kill myself. You're outlook on the world is so bleak!

Some European countries will become very right wing, or very brown/tanned.
No problem here, went shopping yesterday to the largest Mall in Brno. Saw one Black Woman with her child and one Muslim family with two kids. They didn't look poor, neither were they shopping like they were.
How many Germans, Austrians, French, Dutch, Danes, Brits, Swedes, can say that about their second largest city?
Migration is going to change Europe. Which way is down to the people to decide.
As for WW3, only if the people are stupid enough to fight one, or some other Nations people are.Comment

2 superpowers will fight for world dominance, on 1 side the radical feminists and on 1 side the islamists.
The feminists will at the end win by talking only about vegatables, eco-friendliness and female rights. Islamists will see early they have no defence against this jabbering and will all engage in mass suicide due to melancholia and boredom.
A few decades later the planet earth will only consist of male hating whining feminists and with no real men left to bring a new generation to life the human race will eventually die out around the year 2125.

Well how do you know his amazing future isn't right? I think this prince is a dreamer and he might be snorting something but how do you know he isn't right? None of us can predict.
So make note to come back to this thread in 2030 and we can see if he was right.Comment

In 10-15 years things will be pretty much the same as they are now only we will have some different gadgets and a slightly different lifestyle. There will still be fighting in the Middle East, but there has been fighting in the Middle East since the beginning of recorded history. So long as Israel exists many of the Arab nations will have a reason to hate and attack it. If Israel ceased to exist they would find reasons to attack each other.
The one bleak thing I could see on the horizon is in the US economy. If we don't do something to change the shitty trade policies we have been spent the last 30 years putting in place we will see more and more middle class jobs leaving the country which will cause a greater separation of wealth and the onset of a larger government with more socialist style welfare programs. Essentially I could see us taking on our own form of Eurosocialism.Comment

more gadgets, better access of information & education in developing countries, handheld holographic devices, quantum locked levitation used in transport, apparent economical prominence of china, little hubbub about natural disasters causing global awareness (see japan's tsunami), some national borders rearranged (locally significant).
and personally, i'd love to see solar power take over in most daily things because breathing air is good and if i'll have kids, i'm sure they'd enjoy the heck out of it as well.
