I have a friend who wants to submit pictures of her and her fiance and get paid for them, they would get pictures professionally taken. She is 18 and he is 23. What are some sites I can give her that pay for pictures? Suicide girls only pays 97 cents a picture. Below are pictures of them if it makes any difference.

Suicide girls sounds like it's a one time shoot. 97 cents sounds a little low for that...

Here in Portland, where I shoot, I pay solo girls about $.50/image whether it's exclusive or nonexclusive (the girl generally doesn't know and might not even understand the distinction, and the difference between the two is more relevant to me than her anyhow). I think paying her this amount for one shoot and a higher amount for the other kind of shoot would just have her wanting the higher amount the next time no matter what kind of shoot it was, so I just pay a flat rate. She knows what I pay and she knows I pay the next girl exactly the same. A lot more trust develops that way.

Anyway, it's photographers that make the big bucks, not the models. Why? Super models and celebrity models aside, models are a commodity, photographers are not.

My advice: Have a friendly photographer do the dickering and perhaps he'll get a more appealing sum for them, by getting more respect from the site owners and by giving up part of what HE could otherwise earn.
