damn , this movie is a real insult for any kind of inteligence (even AI, I assume).
how people can like it is out of my imagination...
the only thing that you may like in it is CGI...but thats not enough for good movie...
indeed.
imagine all those idiots who go to such movie, pay money for it, surrounded by other idiots eating popcorn and making noise...
terrible experience
the first two parts were great. that movie from 2009 was also OK.

It's too bad you didn't like it. I loved it.
For context: I loved #1, loved #2.
I liked #3, Terminator : Rise of the Machines, a lot. It was the first one not directed by James Cameron and it somehow didn't "feel" like Terminator, but it was still really good. The story was smart, the action was good, etc.
I Hated #4, Terminator Salvation. The story was a mess, the characters were a mess, it was just terrible.
Number 5, Terminator: Gensys on the other hand, was excellent. The story was fantastic, all the new actors in the old roles were good, and something very important, it was a very cool combination of Terminators 1 and 2 with some shot-for-shot remakes of both movies. If you like the first 2 movies a lot, you would probably really appreciate the effort that the filmmakers put into elements like these.
Even better, there is a very cool twist to the story that happens near the beginning of the movie, but doesn't begin to click-in until much later. And even even better better, [SPOILER] there's a mid end-credit surprise too.
Sorry you didn't like it. Maybe give it another chance sometime soon. If you're a Terminator fan, this movie is really worth your time I think.
I watched it for the dragon chick. A while back she said she would no longer do nude scenes because she did not want that to be her career basis.
After watching T5, she just may need to go back to nude scenes after GoT because her acting is terrible. It's harder to notice in GoT because I figured it was just part of her character. Nope, she is awful.
Super sexy though.

i was scratching my head wondering why they even cast her in that role.

According to reports, Clarke refused to appear in any more topless shots in the hit fantasy series two years ago, telling executives she "wanted to be known for my acting, not my breasts."
I doubt she will do any nudity in the near future.
actually #4, had THAT atmosphere and feeling that #3 and #5 simply dont have..regardless on how much they spent on actors, promotion and CGI
To me, Terminator Salvation had atmosphere, but ... I don't know... I just didn't buy the package somehow. Out of all the Terminator movies, Salvation is the only one I never want to watch again.
I liked Rise of the Machines maybe because I like director Jonathan Moscow's other movies like Surrogates and U-571 (great movie), and I thought Nick Stahl was good as John Connor. I especially loved the depressing ending. Everyone goes through all that just to ... fail! Ugh..
Rating all the sequels, I'd say I liked #2, #5, #3 in that order... #4 should not even be considered, and in fact, is completely ignored in the new reboot anyway, so...
P.S. Honestly I don't expect anything good from that movie. The 1st and 2nd were classic. The second one was even better than first (it was simple the best). Everything after that have gone to shit.
