WARNING - Skype Imposter of Paxum Chris

If you ever need to reach Paxum on Skype, please contact us through either of the two following usernames, and no others.

For me - PaxumRuth
For Chris - jupzchris

Someone is pretending to be Chris on Skype, and that person is attempting to gain access to people's Paxum accounts by asking for account login and password.

It is important to be aware that NO-ONE from Paxum will EVER ask you for your account password!

If someone asks you for your Paxum account password,
even if you believe it to be a Paxum employee,
do NOT relinquish the information!

Paxum employees do NOT need to know your password in order to access information about your account, or to assist you with your query. There is never any reason to surrender your Paxum password to another person.

Also this:

Paxum employees do NOT need to know your password in order to access information about your account, or to assist you with your query.

Creepy... do they need other information such as the last 4 of your social or something or can they randomly pull up information in their database randomly on anybody involved with Paxum?

This is a serious question.

I would assume that there should be some sort of verification process considering it is pseudo-banking.

All we will ever ask you for is your account username or Ticket ID so that it can be looked into by our support staff. Chris and I are not support staff.

Actually Ruth, I think you and Chris are indeed the only decent support there. The ticket support I ever had there was atrocious, and honestly, infuriating at times. Frankly, if it wasn't for you and Chris actually forcing real responses to queries versus the canned responses from your ticket support, I'd have never continued with Paxum as long as I did.

That said, I'm actually surprised that anyone would disclose usernames and passwords in ANY instant messenger, or other insecure platform -- especially one involving money.

Why don't they embed click to call Skype like function that "pre-dials" Ruth or Chris in the Paxum site? Seems that would fix the problem and even pass through a verification process as well. Why do they not have a "PaxumServices" in their Skype name and get anyone else using PaxumServices in a Skype name pulled down? The list goes on...

To me using this service is insane. I have zero faith in them.

hi ruth, i have a inquiry on behalf of my friend. cos she doesnt have gfy account so she ask me if i can contact you, regarding with her account . she really disspointed cos she already submitted twice of the pic that ur support needed and yet its rejected to verify the address, upon checking with her pic, its really clear and the info on the pic is clear pls help us cos she really really disspointed with the service of your support. thanks
