ICE Cars are so old, fugly, smelly, expensive, and stupid. They are extremely inefficient and waste a shitload of energy, and require hundreds of moving parts, lube, and other crap. ICE cars will always be a few around for the nostalgia lovers, but they are on their way out, and car makers know it. Good fucking riddance, I say. I'll never buy another ICE car.Comment

I know this much...during the summertime electricity is at a premium because people are running their air conditioning. It puts the power grid at maximum use and sometimes overloads it.
Huge changes will definitely have to happen if electric cars become the norm. Solar and other energy sources will have to grow fast.-Robbie

And actually, the Volt isn't a Hybrid car. You can drive on 100% electricity only. It has an electric engine that turns the wheels, and a gasoline-powered generator that kicks in to drive the electric motor when the battery becomes depleted.Comment

Yes but you live in Vegas.. There is a whole lot of city then nothing, so there isn't a lot of options for pulling power from other areas as it's largely isolated.

Not spin, I was wrong about it.. I remember reading that China had banned building new coal plants. It seems that they only banned it in large city areas, but are still building them in rural areas.
