                in that particular case - it would be better to keep Saddam, Gaddafi(France,Italy) and Assad...at least their countries were functioning properly, were not ruined, had everything that their citizens would need (healthcare, safety, roads, infrastructure, education and so on - for the price of freedom) and actually people were living normal life over there - for the price of their so called "democratic' freedoms.
                now you have "democracy" in Libya and Iraq and you see and now know how "democracy" looks for Arabs. some people are just not good for that type of government. your government didnt know that? oh come on.
                unfortunately this is how your foreign policy looks for the others since ~50 years - "grab what is valuable, leave mess and shit and go away to safe haven at the other side of Atlantic"

                        I'm not blaming the USA for everything. Without the U.S. The world would be fucked. However, taking out Saddam was 100% the wrong move and you know it.

                            As mentioned before, biggest world superpower is everything but stupid. Look the world image now: Russia under sanctions, Europe loosing money because of irrelevant issue like Ukraine (although germans figured out who is ruining their interests , Middle East in flames, US controlling oil, Europe filled with terrorists and muslims that won't integrate into society. Should I mention ruined plans for pipelines in Europe ,so pathetic and poor Balkan countries will be left without any benefit.

                            That is result of huge geopolitical power and planing.

                                                    But a lot of regugees are not coming directly from Syria. A lot already live for years in Turkey. But it is better in the .EU. I think it is better to support those countries also. Or just put more pressure on the Arabic oil states, they will sent more money, as long as the refugees don't come to their country.
